Mahindra’s Exciting 2025 Lineup: EVs, Facelifts, and More

At least a half dozen vehicle launches are pegged for 2025 as Mahindra gears up to electrify the Indian automotive market in a way that would appeal to both Electric Vehicle advocates as well as ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) believers. After an impressive 2024 that saw the Mahindra Thar Roxx and new-age electric SUVs such as the XEV 9e, the corporates are set to crank things up a notch with more innovations and enhancements.

Now let’s take a closer look at what Mahindra is planning for the year 2025.

Electrifying Additions to the XEV Lineup

XUV 4XO EV / XEV 4e

  • Expected Launch: March 2025

  • Expected Price: ₹16 Lakh

M Mahindra continues to follow the success of its XUV400 EV locating the XUV 4XO EV now referred to as XEV 4e. Caught testing recently in late October, this electric SUV will likely have two battery options—34.5 kWh and 39.5 kWh still providing an affordable yet usable range. It has been designed and developed alongside the XUV 3XO, but it promises to make electric vehicles cheaper than ever before.

XEV 7e

  • Expected Launch: March 2025

  • Expected Price: ₹21 Lakh

The XEV 7e is the electrified version of the XUV700, a highly anticipated model due to leaked images showing its futuristic-looking design both inside and out. New battery packs with 59 and 79 kWh capacities are expected to provide a range of up to 650 km, while the convenience of a triple-screen dashboard, a multi-zone climate control system, and advanced driver assistance systems will add value.

Facelifts and Updates to Mahindra’s ICE Models

Thar 3-Door Facelift

  • Expected Launch: April 2025

  • Expected Price: ₹12 Lakh

After the release of the 5-door Thar Roxx, Mahindra planned to rejoice in its 3-door Thar. The update will see the incorporation of design updates such as a new and larger grille, new LED daytime running lights and a new set of dual-tone wheels.

Inside, it’s predicted to offer a more refined body with an upgraded cabin and better interior trims.

Scorpio N Updates

  • Launch: To Be Announced

The Scorpio N, which is one of the key new-age SUVs for Mahindra is also planned to receive yearly changes soon. Future refinements are expected that would involve the integration of ADAS and other technical improvements without relaxing the solid engine portfolio.

XUV700 Updates

  • Launch: To Be Announced

First and foremost, the popular XUV700 will also come up for minor facelifts and features uplifting in 2025.

At the present state, the prices of this Maruti Suzuki’s Vitara Brezza start from ₹14 lakh to ₹25.64 lakh it will definitely sustain in the SUV segment.

Born Electric: BE 07 Makes Its Debut

  • Expected Launch: August 15, 2025

  • Expected Price: ₹30 Lakh

Mahindra’s ‘Born Electric’ range is growing with the new addition being the BE 07 that the company plans on launching during the Independence Day period after the concept model hit the Auto Expo last year.

Intended to be offered as an electric SUV with 5 seats, it follows the design cues of the BE 07 concept which was unveiled in 2022. High-end features, complex propulsion systems, and concentration on eco-friendliness are crucial to this model as Mahindra sees it.

Conclusion

The 2025 model appearing on Mahindra’s website presents a perfect blend of the traditional and the innovative. From shocking the XUV series range to revitalising such classic models as Thar and Scorpio the company is meeting varied consumer requirements. Currently focusing on providing competitively priced vehicles with innovative touches, Mahindra is well-positioned to capitalize on the emergent new market in India.

Stay tuned for more updates as these exciting launches approach!
