Mahindra Thar Roxx now with Mocha Brown Interiors

Mahindra and Mahindra introduced the Thar Roxx with a new dark-colored interior, alongside the lighter-colored interior that had been introduced earlier. The automaker acted on media and consumer complaints regarding the white interior staining easily, then introducing a stopgap measure

Mahindra and Mahindra introduced the Thar Roxx with a new dark interior color, besides the lighter color already introduced. The automaker responded to media and customer complaints regarding the white interior becoming dirty easily, later introducing a quick fix.

It is reassuring that the automaker has added this new color as an option, and quickly integrated the necessary parts and materials in the supply chain.

Exterior Updates

On the outside, there are no modifications, and the SUV can be purchased in its current colors, including the new Battleship Grey giving it a sportier and sophisticated appearance.

Interior Updates

The interior updates of Mahindra Thar Roxx includes:

  • While opening the doors, one can enjoy the new mocha shade interiors which are paired with black coloured materials inclusive of plastics and upholstery.

  • Seats are upholstery in Mocha Brown and black color. It is the best variant of the 4x4 model and comes with contrasting stitching faux leather.

  • And not only the upholstery of the seats, but also numerous plastic components have altered to a close brown color.

  • The sections on the dashboard and the lower-dash have also been updated to a brown colour in the updated Roxx.

Powertrain

There are no other mechanical revisions. The Thar Roxx still receives a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel with the choice of manual and automatic transmission. However, the oil-burner gets only a 4x4 transfer case.

Conclusion

The Mahindra Thar Roxx's new Mocha Brown interior is a welcome upgrade both in terms of looks and functionality, addressing customer complaints about the earlier white interiors. With the introduction of a darker, more elegant color scheme, Mahindra has been able to overcome the issue of staining while retaining the rugged appeal of the Thar. The outside does not change, maintaining its sporty and aggressive look with the introduction of the new Battleship Grey color option. With the Thar Roxx, Mahindra is still providing a capable, high-performance 4x4, marrying style and functionality and ensuring that both new and current customers are pleased with this considerate upgrade.
