Mahindra Thar Discounts Soar Beyond ₹3 Lakh This December

Mahindra Thar Discounts: A Year-End Windfall for Buyers

Mahindra is closing 2024 with extraordinary offers on its iconic off-roader, the Thar 3-door, as it prepares to clear out MY2024 inventory. With discounts exceeding those offered during Diwali, this is an excellent time for enthusiasts to bring home the Thar, especially its feature-rich Earth Edition.

Mahindra Thar 4WD: Discounts Up to ₹3.06 Lakh

The biggest savings are on the Thar Earth Edition, a premium version of the 4WD model. This variant, launched in February 2024, is based on the LX hardtop trim and features a unique Desert Fury matte paint, exclusive badging, and a sophisticated dual-tone beige-and-black interior. Priced between ₹15.40 lakh and ₹17.60 lakh (ex-showroom), the Earth Edition is now available with discounts and benefits up to ₹3.06 lakh.

Standard Thar 4WD variants also receive substantial discounts of up to ₹1.06 lakh. With prices ranging from ₹14.30 lakh to ₹17.20 lakh, buyers can save significantly on these rugged, versatile models that come with the option of turbo-petrol and diesel engines paired with manual or automatic transmissions.

Mahindra Thar 2WD: Savings Up to ₹1.31 Lakh

The more affordable Thar 2WD range, introduced in January 2023, is also part of the year-end sale. Buyers opting for the petrol-powered Thar 2WD can enjoy discounts up to ₹1.31 lakh, which is ₹31,000 more than last month.

Meanwhile, the diesel-powered Thar 2WD variants come with benefits of up to ₹56,000. With pricing between ₹11.35 lakh and ₹14.10 lakh, the 2WD range offers exceptional value for those seeking the iconic styling and off-road stance of the Thar at a lower cost.

A Stellar Year for Mahindra Thar

The second-generation Thar has continued its success story, averaging over 6,500 units in monthly sales between June and November 2024. With three engine options—a 152hp 2.0-litre turbo-petrol, a 132hp 2.2-litre diesel, and a 119hp 1.5-litre diesel—the Thar caters to a variety of performance needs, making it a top choice among off-road enthusiasts and urban adventurers alike.

Conclusion

Whether you’re an off-roading enthusiast or someone seeking a lifestyle vehicle, these year-end discounts make the Mahindra Thar an even more compelling option. Don’t miss this opportunity to drive home an icon with significant savings.
