Mahindra Offers Heavy Discounts On Its Flagship Models

Mahindra offers heavy discounts on its flagship models

Mahindra has been working hard to get rid of its excess inventory of MY2023 cars as the Indian auto industry changes. Significant savings and advantages have resulted from this calculated action on several vehicles, including the XUV700, XUV400 EV, and Scorpio-N. Six months into the new year, the business is enticing customers with large incentives in an attempt to increase sales.

XUV700: Discounts of Up to Rs 1.5 Lakh

The flagship SUV, Mahindra XUV700, is available with a flat cash discount of Rs 1.5 lakh on all variants, except for the AX5 7-seater diesel-MT, diesel-AT, and petrol-MT variants, which have a discount of Rs 1.3 lakh. Customers can save a significant amount of money with this deal, which is an extension of the reductions from the previous month. The 2.0-liter turbo-petrol or 2.2-liter turbo-diesel engines that power the XUV700 can produce 200 horsepower each, providing a variety of alternatives to suit different tastes. Rivaling the Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus, the XUV700 is a strong competitor in the SUV market, with pricing ranging from Rs 13.99 lakh to Rs 27.14 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

XUV400 EV: Discounts of up to Rs 4.4 Lakh

The Mahindra XUV400 EV before the update is still available with significant savings; the majority of models qualify for incentives of up to Rs 4.4 lakh. With a larger 39.4kWh battery, a 7.2kW fast charger, and ESC as standard, the higher-spec EL trim offers a lower total cost of Rs 3.4 lakh in benefits. The XUV400 EV is offered in EC and EL trim levels, with prices ranging from Rs 15.49 lakh to Rs 17.49 lakh. It is directly competitive with the Tata Nexon EV, having a range of up to 375 km for the smaller battery and 456 km for the larger battery.

Scorpio-N: Savings of Up to Rs 1 Lakh

The seven-seat Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV, which has a ladder frame, is currently discounted by up to Rs 1 lakh for the top-spec Z8 and Z8 L models. A cash discount of up to Rs 1 lakh is available for the 4WD diesel variants, while a flat discount of up to Rs 60,000 is available for the 2WD petrol and diesel trims. One of two 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engines with 203 horsepower powers the Scorpio-N or a 2.2-liter diesel engine with 175 horsepower; both can be paired with an automatic or 6-speed transmission. Four-wheel drive is another option available for the diesel versions. In India, the Scorpio-N's ex-showroom pricing ranges from Rs 13.60 lakh to Rs 24.54 lakh. Its competitors include the Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, and Hyundai Alcazar.

Overall, Mahindra is offering significant savings and perks on several models as a result of its efforts to get rid of its MY2023 inventory. Customers have a special chance to buy these well-liked SUVs at a reduced price because the XUV700, XUV400 EV, and Scorpio-N are all giving significant savings. It will be intriguing to watch how these discounts affect sales and the dynamics of the Indian car market as it develops further.
