Kia Syros Teased: A Stylish SUV with Flush-Fitting Door Handles and Premium Features

Kia Syros: A New Contender in the SUV Segment

Kia India is gearing up for the debut of its all-new SUV, the Syros, slated to launch on 19 December. Positioned between the Sonet and the Seltos, the Syros is designed to appeal to customers seeking enhanced interior space and a feature-rich cabin. With just a week to go, Kia has released an exciting new teaser, giving a closer look at some of the SUV’s design and tech highlights.

Striking Exterior Design with Flush-Fitting Door Handles

The Kia Syros boasts a bold and futuristic design. At the front, it features vertically stacked cubical LED headlamps integrated with DRLs, exuding a modern and aggressive appearance. The black Kia logo on the grille adds a touch of sophistication.

The side profile reveals Kia’s attention to detail, with flush-fitting door handles, squared-off wheel arches, and long roof rails contributing to its sleek and rugged look. The blacked-out C-pillar seamlessly connects the rear doors to the quarter panel, enhancing the SUV’s sporty silhouette.

Packed with Premium Features

As expected from Kia, the Syros promises a tech-loaded cabin to meet the demands of modern buyers. Key features include:

  • Large infotainment screen for seamless connectivity.

  • Digital instrument cluster for advanced driving information.

  • Wireless charger and Type C ports for added convenience.

  • Reclining rear seats for enhanced passenger comfort.

  • Rear AC vents to ensure optimal cooling.

  • Panoramic sunroof for a luxurious feel.

  • 360-degree camera for easy maneuvering and improved safety.

The grand center console and the newly designed steering wheel with an off-center Kia logo further add to the SUV’s contemporary appeal.

Competitive Pricing and Market Positioning

Expected to be priced between Rs. 9 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom), the Syros is set to take on competitors like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV300. With its distinctive design and extensive feature list, the Kia Syros aims to carve a niche in the crowded Indian SUV market.

Conclusion

The Kia Syros is shaping up to be a promising addition to the compact SUV segment. Its bold design, premium features, and competitive pricing make it a strong contender. All eyes are now on its official unveiling on 19 December.
