Kia Syros: A Sub-4m SUV Revolution Opens Bookings at Rs 25k

Kia Syros is the brand new vision of the compact SUV segment with its fearlessness, versatility, and abundance of options for reconfigurability and innovations. At Rs 25,000, for a Syros launch on the 1st of February, 2025, it is clear that Ng will be redefining expectations in India’s changing automotive industry.

Some of the most anticipated cars unveiled are those to be launched in the next five years which include the Kia Syros for which bookings have begun at Rs 25000. Starting from 00:00 hours today, customers can hope to secure a place for this sub-4m SUV we are going to introduce on February 1, 2025. They should be signed prior to mid February for Kia expansion in this competitive segment.

Elevating the Sub-4m SUV Segment

Kia Syros is meant to revolutionize the compact SUV segment with a list of best in segment utilities. Sitting between the turbo-petrol Sonet and the larger Seltos, the Syros appeals to India’s aspiring car owners with innovation, style, and comfort.

Powertrain and Trim Options

Kia offers a plethora of choices with the Syros, ensuring buyers find a combination tailored to their needs:

  • Trim Levels: Six models – HTK, HTK with an optimized exhaust system-HTK(O), HTK+ model with a turbocharger, HTX model with power output of 73.5 kw, HTX+ model with an upgraded turbocharger- HTX+(O).

  • Powertrains:

  • 1.0 Turbo Petrol MT

  • 1.0 Turbo Petrol DCT

  • 1.5 CRDi MT

  • 1.5 CRDi AT

For those who do not require an automatic transmission, lower trims have more affordable manual options; those who need an automatic transmission have at least one affordable option.

Design: Radical Yet Familiar

Drawing inspiration from Kia’s “Opposites Unite” design philosophy, the Syros boasts a striking exterior:

  • Headlight bulbs are designed to protrude from wheel arch cladding styling giving a hint of Tasman SUV.

  • Slimline handles for the flush door look.

  • An L-shaped LED rear signature along with tail lights on the bumpers.

While not exactly conservative and, in fact, leaning somewhat more toward the rebellious side, the design will likely find its buyers in the consumers looking for something younger, and more trendy.

The Kia Syros promises class-leading interior space and innovative features, including:

  • Facilities include sliding as well as reclining of rear seats in order to provide the most comfort.

  • Front and rear adjustable vents – another feature that cannot be found in most cars of this segment.

  • A revolutionary 30-inch Trinity Display, comprising:

  • Two touch screens of 12.3-inch for media and communication and the second for drivers.

  • Hatchback: Eight monotone colours namely Frost Blue, Gravity Grey and Aurora Black Pearl.

  • Four Interior Colour Themes for Customizing the Look.
