As anticipation builds for the Kia Clavis, which is expected to debut next year, new spy shots from testing in the hills have emerged, offering a closer look at this upcoming B-SUV positioned above the Sonet in Kia's lineup.
The latest images reveal a striking design inspired by the Kia Carnival, featuring vertically stacked LED DRLs and an upright fascia. The Clavis boasts a wide air dam, chunky diamond-cut alloy wheels, dual-tone roof rails, and a rear bumper-mounted number plate recess, complemented by a sleek shark-fin antenna and fresh LED taillights.
Inside, the Clavis is set to impress with a modern layout, including a new two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and dual screens that dominate the dashboard. Additional interior features are expected to include A-pillar-mounted tweeters and an auto-dimming IRVM (Interior Rear View Mirror). To enhance safety, the model will likely come equipped with an ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) suite, further modernizing the driving experience.
While details about the drivetrain remain under wraps, the 2025 Kia Clavis is anticipated to offer engine options similar to those found in the Sonet, potentially including a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engine.
