Indias Favourite Suv Just Got More Expensive

India’s favourite SUV just got more Expensive

Mahindra Thar is undoubtedly the favorite SUV of the majority of the Indians. The car represents the dusty and rusty capabilities of the owner just like the car. Mahindra has previously announced that it would be launching a five-door Thar very soon, expanding its range to cater to more customers. And currently, it has been reported Mahindra has revised the prices of select cars with immediate effect. In this article, we take a closer look at the price change for the Thar lifestyle SUV.

Pricing Revisions and Impact on Consumers

Mahindra recently increased the prices of the Thar in all of its variations, which means that potential customers will now pay more. In the past, the Thar was priced between Rs 13.30 lakh and Rs 20.64 lakh (on-road, Mumbai) and came in both 4WD and RWD variants.

Old vs. Revised Prices

The most recent price changes apply to certain Mahindra Thar models. Price increases of Rs 43,500 have been made to the AX (O) hard-top diesel MT RWD and the LX hard-top diesel MT RWD; the LX hard-top petrol AT RWD variant has seen a rise of Rs 28,001. There has been a Rs 16,200 price rise for other models.

Updated Pricing Details

After adjustments, the price of the LX hard-top diesel MT RWD at around Rs 15.50 lakh, the AX (O) hard-top diesel MT RWD variant at about Rs 13.75 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), and the LX hard-top petrol AT RWD at about Rs 17 lakh have been revealed. Due to these modifications, prospective customers will have to budget an extra sum that, depending on the type they select, may range from Rs 16,200 to Rs 43,500.

The engine, mechanics, and features of the Mahindra Thar are all still the same, despite the price adjustments. This guarantees consumers that the performance, dependability, and off-road capability that have made the Thar a well-liked option in the SUV market will continue to be available.
