Good News For Skoda Fans New Skoda Suv Spotted Testing

Good news for Skoda fans: New Skoda SUV spotted Testing

Skoda Cars has posed a slow but strong rival in the Indian automotive industry. This Czech company occasionally releases automobiles to keep its loyal customers excited. This time, following the Virtus launch, the brand kept quiet. However, they have since announced plans to introduce a new SUV in India; it was reportedly discovered undergoing testing on Indian roads.

Let’s find out the details of the Spy shots we got:

Spy Shot Reveals Camouflaged Car

An automobile that has been well camouflaged is visible in the spy shot. How can we be certain that this is a Skoda? Because they are headquartered in Chakan, Pune, Skoda test cars typically have an MH14 registration. The test vehicle has roof rails that aren't working, wraparound tail lights, and a brake light positioned on the spoiler. Sadly, not much more can be inferred from this collection of spy photos.

What Else Do We Know About the New Skoda SUV?

During their last event, Skoda unveiled a preview picture of this next SUV. This displayed a sculpted bonnet and an eye-brow LED pattern. Like its larger siblings, the SUV will be built on the MQB A0 IN platform. The 1.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine, which can produce 113 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque, will power the small SUV. An automatic gearbox and a 6-speed manual should be available as transmission options. It is anticipated to have a 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof, ambient lighting, and other features.

Launch and Cost

It has been confirmed by Skoda that the small SUV will be on sale in March 2025. Skoda appears to be on schedule for this launch date based on the sighting of the test vehicle. In terms of cost, Skoda is aware that it must set the SUV's price competitively in this cutthroat market. The Skoda SUV is anticipated to cost between Rs 10 and Rs 15 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

That's it, Skoda enthusiasts! Testing of the company's future small SUV has been observed, and it looks like an interesting addition to the class. Watch this space for additional updates as Skoda gets ready for launch in 2025.
