India-Spec MG Majestor Revealed, Reservations Now Open, Prices Not Revealed

As JSW MG Motor's new flagship full-size SUV, the India-spec MG Majestor has been formally launched. It will take the Gloster's place and compete with high-end models. Strong performance and great comfort are features of the Majestor's 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine, striking styling, and feature-rich cabin. Reservations have started at ₹41,000, and the price will be revealed in April 2026. Customer deliveries are anticipated to start in May.

  • With its newest flagship SUV for India, MG promises excellent diesel performance and luxurious comfort.

  • Reservations open in advance of the price announcement in April, and deliveries start in May 2026.

Officially, JSW MG Motor India has unveiled the much-anticipated Majestor, an SUV designed to stand out in the fiercely competitive full-size market. In contrast to a teaser or soft-launch campaign, MG has taken a bold step by fully revealing the SUV and starting reservations right away. The Majestor is currently the brand's most prominent model in India.

Although the price will be revealed in April, the Majestor's design, features, and performance characteristics have already generated a lot of attention.

An Eye-Catching Design

It is clear from a single look that the Majestor is not afraid to be seen. Sharp LED lighting, a broad stance, and a dramatic, heavily sculpted front grille give it the charm this segment demands.

The back is similarly impressive thanks to the dual exhaust tips and integrated LED tail-lamp bar. MG will provide a number of modern colour options, enhancing the SUV's high-end attractiveness.

A Cabin Designed for Modern India

As you enter, the Majestor unveils what MG refers to as a "space inspired by an executive lounge." In the middle is a huge 12.3-inch touchscreen that is held up by a clear digital instrument cluster.

A JBL 12-speaker audio system, two wireless charging pads, a gesture-activated operated tailgate, ventilated and massaging front seats, and ambient lighting with 64 colour options are among the features.

Clients have the option of a more conventional seven-seat arrangement or a six-seat captain configuration. It is obvious that the Majestor's identity is centred on comfort.

Real Muscle and Diesel Power

A 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine with 213 horsepower and 478 Nm of torque powers the vehicle. The engine powers a full-time 4x4 system with an eight-speed automatic transmission, guaranteeing performance on both paved and unpaved surfaces. This powertrain is intended for people who desire performance without compromising style.

Timeline for Launch and Next Steps

The Majestor is getting ready for its big April price reveal, and reservations are already being made for ₹41,000. In order to create expectation and production momentum, MG intends to start customer deliveries in May 2026.

The introduction of the Majestor is expected to be one of the most significant automotive events of the year for consumers looking for a full-size SUV with a lot of features.
