In Demand 7-Seater Skoda SUV Debuts in India

The Superb will still compete with the Camry, while the 7-seater SUV Kodiaq will challenge the well-liked Toyota Fortuner and MG Gloster. What features are available in the new Skoda vehicles? Details about the Skoda Cars Auto Expo are being shared below.

Exterior design of 2025 Skoda Cars

Since the sedan seems brand-new, starting with the new Superb! The outside design of the 2018 Superb has been redesigned, and it is very different from the previous model. New headlamps and front bumpers complete the front profile. The sedan has new alloy wheels on the side profile and new tail lamps on the back.

Speaking of the Kodiaq, while being a new model, it shares some similarities with the old model. Skoda has updated the headlamp and bumper designs to make them appear more modern than before. Although we get a new set of alloy wheels, the side silhouette remains the same. With linked LED tail lighting, the rear profile is brand-new.

Interiors and features of New Skoda Cars

Both the Kodiaq and the Superb have completely new interior designs. Additionally, Skoda has chosen to provide the Kodiaq and Superb similar interiors for the first time. Speaking of which, the center console design and the dashboard arrangement are both new.

Additionally, the enormous touchscreen that takes up much of the interior will catch your eye. With a new dual-tone color scheme and an abundance of soft-touch materials, Skoda has significantly raised the premium quotient overall.

Specifications of both new Skoda Cars

For both of these vehicles, Skoda offers a variety of engine choices worldwide. The brand will probably stick with the same gasoline engine from the previous generation in India, though.

Speaking of which, it is a 2.0-liter gasoline turbocharged engine with 188 horsepower and 320 Nm. A single 7-speed DCT gearbox is linked to the engine.

Launching and On-Road Price

The Kodiaq and Superb for India were presented by Skoda today. On the other hand, the launch is anticipated to take place in the upcoming months. Pricing-wise, the Kodiaq should be reasonably priced and will still be offered through the CKD route.

Nevertheless, we should anticipate that it would cost approximately Rs 55 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). On the other hand, CBU routes are anticipated to be used to sell the new Superb. This indicates that the product will be expensive, with an estimated on-road pricing of up to Rs 70 lakh in Mumbai.
