Electric Porsche 718 Spotted Being Tested In The New Spy Photos

Electric Porsche 718 spotted being tested in the New Spy Photos.

The New Porsche 718 EV is a statement in Porsche’s transition into the Electric Vehicle domain in the near future and looks to expand into hybrid options as well to reduce the carbon footprint in the future.

Production of the electrified Porsche Cayman is almost complete. The next-generation Cayman is making enough progress toward production. The spy photographers caught sight of a test model without any camouflage.

Specifications of the New Porsche 718 EV

All of the body panels are new, and the EV Cayman appears to be a little more like the 911 than the previous version. The Taycan sedan served as the obvious inspiration for the new headlamps on the front end of the vehicle. Although it uses the Boxster's vertical third brake light, the back of the car still has thin, split taillights like the current model.

Range of the New Porsche 718 EV

Estimates of the range are comparable in the dark, with only the Taycan providing illumination. We anticipate that the automobile will run on an 800-volt design, and its range should easily exceed 200 miles. According to Porsche, the latest Taycan can charge from 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes.

During the test, the Taycan Turbo GT took 1.9 seconds to go from zero to sixty miles per hour. However, there is no guarantee or concern that the new 718 will not be enjoyable to drive.

Rollout Timeline

Porsche hasn't provided a precise date for when the 718 EV will be available in the country, but there is anticipation about this happening sometime in 2027 It would be a piece of great news to car lovers seeing that a big brand like Porsche is thinking of the future and are moving in the interest of reducing the carbon footprint by introducing electric vehicles.
