MG's full-size, three-row SUV is ready to compete with competitors like the Jeep Meridian and Toyota Fortuner.
Recent insider information and spy photos point to strong diesel engines, high-end features, and tough construction.
The eagerly awaited MG Majestor will launch in India on February 12, 2026, MG Motor India has officially declared. This full-size SUV was initially displayed at the 2025 Auto Expo/Bharat Mobility Expo.
Since then, it has been frequently seen being tested on Indian roads. MG intends to make a dramatic statement in the competitive large SUV market with the Majestor, which will be at the top of the company's SUV portfolio.
According to spy photos of near-production vehicles, the Majestor has a powerful, tough road presence. Its massive upright grille, vertically stacked headlamps, and slender LED daytime running lights are visible even under concealment, giving it a unique face.
Its off-road appeal is increased by side steps, roof rails, large alloy wheels, and noticeable wheel arch cladding. The SUV's large tailgate and integrated LED taillamps complete its intimidating appearance.
Luxurious Features in a Roomy Cabin
The MG Majestor's interior is probably going to be roomy and equipped with a lot of technology for comfortable long-distance driving. It is anticipated that the infotainment system and instrument cluster will have two screens, in addition to amenities like wireless charging, multi-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof.
MG's emphasis on safety and technology may be reinforced with the addition of sophisticated driver aid systems to higher models.
MG's well-known 2.0-liter diesel engine, which comes in single-turbo and twin-turbo configurations, is anticipated to power the Majestor. When combined with an automatic gearbox, the more potent twin-turbo powerplant is probably going to produce more than 210 horsepower.
Four-wheel drive is another option available to buyers, making the Majestor appropriate for both occasional off-road use and freeway cruising.
All Set to Face Off Against Segment Heavyweights
Popular full-size SUVs like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, and Skoda Kodiaq will compete with the MG Majestor once it is introduced. MG hopes to establish a strong position for the Majestor in a fiercely competitive market with competitive pricing and a focus on features and performance.
