Confirmed: Kia Carens Facelift and Carens EV to Launch Before Festive Season

Kia is set to revamp its Carens lineup with the 2025 facelift and the all-electric Carens EV, both arriving ahead of the festive season. While the facelift boasts refreshed styling, advanced features, and multiple engine options, the Carens EV promises a family-friendly, eco-conscious alternative with over 400 km range, positioning Kia as a leader in the MPV market.

Kia is all set to elevate its presence in the MPV market with the 2025 Carens facelift and the all-electric Carens EV, both expected to debut ahead of this year’s festive season. These refreshed models promise new features, enhanced design elements, and, for the EV version, a greener driving experience.

2025 Kia Carens Facelift: Fresh Look and Features

Since its launch in 2022, the Carens has been a go-to choice for families. The 2025 facelift aims to build on this success with updated LED headlights and taillights, a reworked grille, redesigned bumpers, and stylish new alloy wheels. Inside, Kia is expected to introduce significant upgrades, such as a larger infotainment system, Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a premium music system, ambient lighting, a 360-degree camera, and possibly features like a panoramic sunroof and rear-ventilated seats.

The facelift will retain the three existing engine options:

Kia Carens EV: A Green Step Forward

The Carens EV will be Kia’s second electric MPV offering, following the MG Windsor EV, and is set to be Kia’s most affordable EV in India. Built on the ICE platform of the Carens, the EV will stand out with an enclosed front grille, aerodynamic alloy wheels, and a unique badge emphasizing its electric identity.

Expected to deliver a range of over 400 km on a single charge, the Carens EV promises practicality for families looking for an eco-friendly alternative.

Launch and Availability

Both the facelifted Carens and Carens EV are slated to hit showrooms in the second half of 2025. With bookings anticipated to open soon, Kia is likely to attract a wide range of buyers seeking style, utility, and sustainability.
