BMW, MINI Cars Get Major Price Cuts After GST 2.0

BMW India has announced substantial price cuts across its portfolio following the GST 2.0 reform. With reductions of up to Rs. 13.60 lakh effective from September 22, models like the 3 Series, X5, and MINI Cooper now come at more accessible rates. The carmaker is also rolling out festive offers and flexible finance schemes under the ‘Joy Days’ campaign.

BMW India has strategised its announcement for the upcoming festive season, and it has launched its Joy Days campaign. The scheme is a combination of lower ex-showroom prices with the GST 2.0 and special finance options, which make the premium ownership more affordable to new customers.

The brand believes that such a move will help not only find new potential customers who have never considered a luxury car but also increase the momentum of festive sales.

Significant Pricing discounts between models

The updated price statement addresses competitive discounts on the most well selling BMW products. BMW 330Li M Sport is now priced at Rs. 60.45 lakh instead of the previous difference of Rs. 63.90 lakh, and BMW X5 xDrive30d has been priced at Rs. 95.50 lakh as opposed to the previous price of Rs. 1.02 crore.

The list of cars that have been significantly cut also includes high-performance models, such as the M340i, and family vehicles, such as the BMW X3.

MINI Range Benefits Too

GST 2.0 does not just have one exclusive benefit to BMW. The pricing of MINI models is revised as well, which makes them more attractive to young urban consumers.

An example can be the MINI Cooper S Essential Pack, which has been lowered to Rs. 43.70 lakh, compared to Rs. 46.20 lakh.

Through this, customers of MINI have the merit of incurring reduced initial costs without having to sacrifice the iconic design and driving dynamics of the brand.

Enticing Finance Schemes to Buyers

BMW India is also providing flexible ownership plans called BMW Smart Finance in order to make the deal even sweeter. The customers are able to choose to have low EMI schemes, tailor-made payment schemes or guaranteed buyback systems so that they can upgrade to newer models easily in future. There are also standard finance packages that have interest rates of 6.75 per cent and above across the range.

What This Means for Buyers

To the prospective purchasers of luxury cars, the price reduction engineered by the new GST 2.0 will be a chance to come into the world of BMW or MINI at a reduced price. The new pricing structure, coupled with bespoke finance packages and offers at this time of the year, will contribute to high demand in the near future.
