Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has formally included the British luxury marque Bentley in its inventory of products in India as part of its strategic expansion strategy.
This incorporation is a turning point in the work of Bentley in India, that previously had to work with Exclusive Motors. The SAVWIPL has now emerged with a new company dubbed Bentley India that will have the role of managing every detail of the brand business, including the importation and distribution of the model, as well as after-sales services.
Its customers' experience and positioning of Bentley will also be in the hands of the company.
In Place Leadership and Dealer Strategy
This new division will be headed by Abby Thomas, who will help with the deep insight into the market of luxury automobiles in India. It is hoped that the appointment will enable Bentley India to adjust orientation in the country to the distinctive needs and desires of ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNI).
Bentley India will tie up with three dealer partners in key metro cities in order to start its retail experience in India. Bangalore and Mumbai will be rolled out initially and then in a phased manner, New Delhi will also be served.
These dealerships will provide a smooth transition of brand experience where emphasis will be laid on personalization, exclusive services, and high-touch luxury hospitality.
A Growing Appetite for Luxury Cars in India
As Piyush Arora, the Managing Director and CEO of SAVWIPL, mentioned, “the introduction of Bentley into the SAVWIPL family is an achievement that completes our portfolio. The demand in India is soaring towards uncompromising luxury and this will enhance our presence at all the levels of luxury.”
Jan Bures, Executive Director, Sales, Marketing and Digital at SAVWIPL, spoke the same thing, noting that the expanding UHNI base in India is a great opportunity for a brand such as Bentley, one with a heritage, performance, and one with the best built – he said in a statement.
Now that Bentley India is under the able management of SAVWIPL, consumers are going to have a better experience with the benefit of one of the strongest luxury motoring setups in the nation.
