Facelift Version of Renault Triber to be launched on July 23, 2025

Renault is now almost ready to launch the much-awaited facelift of the Triber in India on July 23, as the compact MPV will get its first-ever significant upgrade since 2016. Refreshed styling on the outside, a revised list of features and slight interior additions will be added to the package, but the 1.0-litre petrol engine will remain the same as before.

Renault is taking a long time to offer its popular compact MPV, the Triber, a major mid-cycle update. The 2025 Triber, with its light facelift and new features, will be available on July 23, in an attempt to make this seven-seater more popular in the lower segment of the budget family car market.

It is the earliest significant revision given the fact that the Triber was initially introduced back in 2019.

LED Headlamps and Revised Bumpers: New Look

Spy photos and camouflaged test vehicles have also suggested even sharper new-fangled front facia, and the largest visible modifications include reprofiled headlights with incorporated LED DRLs, a new grille style, and a more aggressive front bumper with broadened air intake and blistered fog light housing made accessible. It is these changes that help the Triber to have a more contemporary and pronounced stance.

The length of the sides of the vehicle will not be very different, but alloy wheels of new models might be introduced. On the rear, the cosmetic makeover will be completed with restyled tails, rear bumper and the redesigned tail lamps.

Interior Tweaks and More Features Incoming

The facelifted Triber will have a few modest changes on its dashboard, trim levels, and upholstery inside the cabin. It could also get feature upgrades, as Renault recently upgraded the features of models, such as the Magnite, including the infotainment system, climate control interface, or even connectivity tech.

Retroactive Power Plant Under the Hood

Mechanically, the Triber facelift will stick to the known 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol motor, which is peaking out at 72hp and 96Nm of torque. Several transmissions will be the same: 5- speed manual and 5-speed AMT. As much as most would have wanted a beefier turbo-petrol variant, it does not seem to be in this facelift.

The 2025 Triber fluid is likely to incur a very minor increment in its prices because of its niche hatch position as the most inexpensive 7-seater compact MPV in India. It will soon encounter new rivalry, as a Nissan-labeled sibling will also come out next year.
