The curtain has finally dropped on the latest masterpiece that takes pride in the Ferrari stable. The new Amalfi Coupe is a scorcher four-seater grand tourer that is the latest headliner in the Ferrari legendary design story.
The spiritual replacement to the Roma, the Amalfi combines contemporary Italian luxury with its performance-oriented engineering philosophy, the line that Ferrari is so proud of as a front-engine coupe.
Smooth, Shaped and Design Imitating Icons
The Amalfi still has the same elegant style line of the Roma, but with more aggressive lines as a hint of the current design direction the company is taking. A shark nose reminiscent of the SF90 and 12Cilindri makes it more daring at the front. The conventional grille has been substituted by a floating body-colored wing to promote aerodynamics and design childishness.
The back haunches are still muscular and the new design of the tail lights (four separated pods united in a smooth mid-section of black color) is rather sophisticated. A discrete boot lip spoiler and four exhaust outlets can also be added to the powerful, wider stance of the car.
Wheels, tyres and dimensions
The Amalfi has a length of 4,660mm, a width of 1,974mm and a height of 1,301mm with a wheelbase of 2,670mm. It runs 20-inch alloy wheels with Bridgestone Potenza Sport and Pirelli P ZERO tyres created using extreme precision to guarantee grip.
Luxurious Interior with Tech-Focused Innovation
The interior is that of a twin-cockpit design that has a futuristic monolith dashboard in one piece with the vents and the instrument cluster set together. The steering wheel cannot be used with haptic-type buttons; it is more convenient to operate the steering wheel with physical buttons, unlike modern Ferrari models.
High-tech features are a 15.6-inch digital cockpit, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Qi charging, and smartphone integration. As an optional extra, it has a 1200W Burmester sound system that features 14 speakers.
Performance- Classic V8 Power
The Amalfi is fitted with a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet with 631bhp and 760 Nm. When combined with an eight-speed dual-clutch F1, the same can rocket to 100kmph in 3.3 seconds with a top speed of 320kmph.
Designed with beauty, forward-looking and tradition, the Ferrari Amalfi Coupe is a stunning tour car that has come to change the world and excite the driving enthusiast in one way or the other.
