Auto Recap for the date of 11th March 2025 and other important information.

The automotive industry works quickly, making it difficult to stay updated. We are dedicated to delivering the right information to our users and following the required information.

Following are the important things that took place on 11th March concerning the automobile industry, which includes the news ranging from new car launches in India to Donald Trump buying a new Tesla EV.

This article covers it all from top to bottom. Take a look.

  1. Tata Sierra ICE design trademark filed

Tata Motors has submitted a design patent application for the production-spec Sierra. The vehicle runs on an internal combustion engine. The brand has already confirmed and showcased the electric-only version of the Sierra as well.

To safeguard the design language, manufacturers submitted design patents. The design patent indicates that the brand will implement subtle modifications to the production-spec version of the Sierra.

Although the kink design element in the B-pillar was present in the model displayed at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, it is not included in the production version. The wheel made of alloy has been replaced. Tata Motors may offer two alloy wheel designs once the SUV goes live.

  1. 2025 BYD Atto 3 and Seal launched in India

BYD India has launched updates for its SUV, the BYD Atto 3, and the electric sedan, the BYD Seal. The 2025 BYD Atto 3 and the 2025 BYD Seal both receive updated features. Also included in the SUV is a battery upgrade for enhanced performance.

In total, BYD's offerings in India consist of four models: the BYD Sealion 7, the BYD Atto 3, the BYD eMAX 7, and the BYD Seal.

According to Rajeev Chauhan, who leads the Electric Passenger Vehicles division at BYD India, the purpose of these updates is to improve the users’ driving experience and keep up with technological progress.

  1. The 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid launched at Rs. 1.45 lakh

The 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid has been introduced by Yamaha Motor India in the Indian market with an ex-showroom price of ₹1.45 lakh.

According to Yamaha, it is the first hybrid motorcycle within the 150 cc category. It will receive new features, an updated engine, and a few other changes for 2025.

  1. Trump to buy a Tesla EV

Donald J. Trump, the 47th President of the USA, has expressed his support by stating on Tuesday that he will purchase a new Tesla vehicle on Wednesday morning. This was framed as a demonstration of confidence in Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, whom Trump lauded as "a truly great American." Trump announced it on social platforms, criticizing the attempts to boycott Tesla as an attack on Musk and his contributions to the country.

Trump further remarked that "the Radical Left Lunatics" were unjustly focusing on Musk and Tesla, which is among the top car manufacturers globally. The statement aimed to galvanize support for Musk among Republicans, conservatives, and his wider base.

Conclusion

The car industry is changing quickly, with major advancements occurring among various brands. Tata Motors is advancing with the ICE variant of the Sierra, while BYD is broadening its footprint in India with refreshed EV models. Yamaha has launched a hybrid motorcycle in the 150cc category, demonstrating innovation in the realm of two-wheeled vehicles. In the meantime, Donald Trump’s declaration about buying a Tesla underscores the continuing political and industrial developments linked to the EV sector. With car manufacturers constantly striving to break new ground, both fans and buyers must keep themselves updated on these developments.
