Tata Motors has launched the permanently available Stealth Editions for the 2026 Harrier and Safari, bringing a premium, matte-black aesthetic to their top-spec variants.
Available across both the new 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol and the proven 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engines, prices start at Rs. 23.43 lakh for the Harrier and Rs. 24.04 lakh for the Safari.
Tata Motors has introduced the 2026 Stealth Edition of the Harrier and Safari SUVs in India, expanding its premium SUV lineup with a more exclusive design-focused variant. The new edition is based on the top-spec variants and introduces exclusive exterior styling, premium interior enhancements and additional equipment while retaining the existing mechanical package.
Placed alongside the existing Dark and Red-Dark lineups, the new Stealth models deliver an ultra-premium, dark-themed road presence backed by flagship-level creature comforts and advanced safety technology.
Darker and Bolder: Stealth-Specific Exterior Changes
The defining element of the 2026 Stealth range is the exclusive Matte Stealth Black exterior paint scheme. Unlike a conventional glossy black finish, this matte coat lends a satin, understated look to the SUVs' muscular silhouettes.
To complement the stealthy theme, Tata has fitted the vehicles with 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels finished entirely in Matte Black. The wheel design remains similar to the Dark Edition models, but the new matte-black finish gives it a more premium and stealthy appearance.
The dark alloy wheels blend seamlessly with the black exterior elements and rugged side cladding, while a dedicated ‘STEALTH’ badge on the front fenders highlights its exclusive identity.
Tata Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition Updates
Inside the cabin, Tata has introduced a more premium Carbon Noir theme, replacing the lighter dual-tone interiors with an all-black design. The leatherette seats feature Carbon Noir upholstery with contrasting Granite Black deco stitching, giving the cabin a sportier and more luxurious feel.
The dark theme continues across the soft-touch dashboard and matching leather-finished door inserts. Since the Stealth Edition is based on the top-spec Fearless Ultra variant of the Harrier and Accomplished Ultra variant of the Safari, it comes equipped with a comprehensive range of premium features, including:
14.5-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system with apps such as Amazon Prime Video and JioHotstar
Premium audio system with Dolby Atmos support
Ventilated front seats
Voice-assisted dual-zone automatic climate control
Voice-assisted panoramic sunroof
Built-in dashcam with digital video recorder (DVR) functionality
Engine and Performance
For the 2026 Stealth Edition, the Harrier and Safari Stealth Edition are available with both petrol and diesel engine options. Both engines are offered with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, allowing buyers to choose the setup that best suits their driving needs. The Stealth Edition also comes equipped with Level 2+ ADAS, including Intelligent Speed Assist, further enhancing safety and driver convenience.
