With immediate effect, Skoda Auto India has raised the cost of its Kylaq sub-compact SUV lineup.
The ex-showroom pricing range is now between ₹7.59 lakh and ₹12.99 lakh for the entire lineup, depending on the model.
The Kylaq sub-compact SUV will now cost more as a result of a price increase made by Skoda Auto India. All four of the model's variations, Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige, are affected by the price adjustments, which vary from variant to variant.
The entry-level Classic trim now starts at ₹7.59 lakh (ex-showroom), which is a little increase over earlier rates. Additionally, the manual and automatic versions of the Signature have been marked up by about ₹10,000 each.
The flagship Prestige versions have the biggest increases, up to ₹19,295, while the more expensive Signature+ trims have increases of about ₹9,736 to ₹10,357. The Kylaq's whole range now falls between ₹7.59 lakh and ₹12.99 lakh on an ex-showroom basis as a result of this change.
Engine and Transmission Details
The Kylaq's mechanical configuration is still the same despite the price adjustments. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that powers the SUV is still mated to either a six-speed manual or a six-speed torque converter automatic transmission. This drivetrain, which is standard on all versions, offers the performance and efficiency combination typical of Skoda's sub-4-meter cars.
Buyer Impact and Market Context
This most recent price increase coincides with other automakers making cost adjustments as a result of growing input costs and changes in the industry. The hike brings the Kylaq more in line with current industry pricing trends, even if it was first introduced with competitive pricing to draw purchasers. The small adjustment may be worthwhile for prospective buyers considering the sub-compact SUV, particularly for higher-spec models where the increase is most noticeable.
Customers who have already reserved a Kylaq should make sure that their invoice has been finalised prior to the upgrade, since confirmed reservations with completed invoices can still be eligible for the previous pricing. Otherwise, all dealerships in the country are now subject to the updated structure.
