The 2026 Verna facelift features a new steering wheel and a remodelled cabin with two screens.
The sedan maintains its competitiveness in its class thanks to exterior upgrades and retained engines.
The 2026 Hyundai Verna's cabin has been significantly redesigned, taking inspiration from the newly revised Hyundai Venue, according to spy photos. A redesigned steering wheel with four dots that resemble the letter "H" in Morse Code is seen on test mules taken without camouflage. This more upscale feature complements Hyundai's most recent design aesthetic.
Dual digital panels for the infotainment system and instrument cluster are also included in the dash; these screens are probably bigger than those on the present model, improving both appearance and use. The sporty black concept with red stitching seems to be continuing inside, while dual-tone variants are probably still going to be offered.
In addition to the new design, the facelifted Verna is anticipated to keep many of the comfort and convenience amenities of the existing model, including ambient lighting, leather upholstery, motorized driver seat, ventilated front seats, and Bluelink connected car technology. The car will be better able to compete in the cutthroat midsize market thanks to these upgrades.
Exterior Modifications and Familiar Engines
Although the interior is receiving the most attention, the exterior will also see minor improvements. Although the overall contour and a large portion of the alloy wheel design remain comparable to the existing Verna, spy photos suggest changes to the front bumper and grille, as well as sharper LED daytime running lights, for a more modern appearance.
Although tail lamp design updates are not yet verified, there might be modest adjustments at the back as well.
The 2026 Verna facelift is anticipated to keep the current 1.5-litre engine lineup under the hood. Both naturally aspirated gasoline and a more potent 1.5-litre turbocharged gasoline, which produces about 160 horsepower and 253 Nm, are included, along with manual and automatic gearbox options.
What Comes Before Launch
In order to stay competitive with rivals like the Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, and Skoda Slavia, Hyundai is expected to formally introduce the Verna facelift in March 2026. The updated Verna is ready to draw in customers searching for a feature-rich, cozy sedan in its class, thanks to its enhanced technology and elegant exterior and interior design.
