2026 Ford Mustang FX Pack: Retro 80s Style Meets Modern Power

Ford revives its iconic pony car’s Fox Body heritage with the 2026 Mustang FX Package. From striking Adriatic Blue Metallic paint and white accents to retro-inspired interiors and bespoke wheels, the FX Pack blends nostalgic flair with modern Premium performance.

The much-loved Mustang returns to its ’80s roots with the FX Package, a styling and trim update that pairs classic design cues with today’s performance expectations.

Available exclusively on the GT Premium trim, this package is Ford’s homage to the third-generation “Fox Body” Mustangs, updated for drivers who crave both heritage and horsepower.

A Splash of Adriatic Blue Metallic

The first thing you’ll notice is the new Adriatic Blue Metallic exterior paint. This bold teal hue sets the stage for a high-contrast look, enhanced by bright white accents. Oxford White finishes appear on the 19-inch wheels, badges, and even the pony emblem at the grille’s center, giving the Mustang FX Pack a crisp, eye-catching appearance.

Two Wheel Designs, One Nostalgic Spirit

Buyers can choose between two 19-inch Oxford White wheel styles. The standard five-spoke design is modern yet rooted in tradition, while the Performance Pack’s take features a classic pattern reminiscent of vintage Fox Body models.

Both sets amplify the car’s retro vibe, and even the taillights receive a white finish, standing out dramatically against the deep blue body.

White Flourishes Everywhere

Small details make a big statement: the “5.0” and “GT” badges on the fenders are outlined in white, and Performance Pack models get contrasting white treatment on the grille’s “nostrils.” It’s a subtle nod to the past, whispering Mustang history to those in the know.

Interior: Plaid Meets Perforation

Step inside, and the ’80s theme continues. Seats feature black-and-white perforated leather inserts inspired by the plaid patterns of vintage Mustangs. These inserts are available on both the standard seating and the sportier Recaro options, blending comfort with a heritage look that feels fresh today.

Stitching, Badges, and Bright Belts

City Silver and Adriatic Blue stitching trace the dashboard, door panels, steering wheel, and seats, tying the cabin’s colour palette together. A bespoke FX-specific “Mustang GT” badge on the dash sports a custom 1980s-inspired typeface.

Ford even offers new seatbelt colours: International Orange, Prime Blue, and Black with a red stripe—to add a dash of personality. And for fans of the bright hues, the Orange Fury Metallic Tricoat makes a return.

Specs and Customisation

The FX Pack is available only on the 2026 Mustang GT Premium. Buyers can pick coupe or a convertible, a manual or an automatic, and decide whether to include the Performance Pack wheel set.

Regardless of configuration, the FX Pack ensures a unique look inside and out. For existing owners of the seventh-generation Mustang, the white taillights are also offered through the Ford Performance Parts catalogue, making the retro upgrade accessible to more enthusiasts.

In Summary, with the 2026 Mustang FX Package, Ford successfully blends the spirit of its Fox Body era with 21st-century performance and quality. From the striking Adriatic Blue Metallic paint to the intricate interior stitching and vintage seat designs, every element celebrates Mustang’s vibrant history while delivering a thoroughly modern driving experience. Whether you’re drawn by nostalgia or simply love a standout look, the FX Pack makes the Mustang GT Premium a true statement car.
