Will the Pune Porsche Car Crash case be a new normal or the biggest lesson for all?

The Pune Porsche Car crash infuriated the entire nation when On 19th May, A 17-year-old Boy who was driving a high-end Unregistered Porsche with a speed of over 115 km/hr killed two IT engineers living and working in Pune, and The Judicial System gave him bail within 15 hours with a task to write an essay on “Traffic accidents.”

The case did not close then and it may have marked the beginning of the case. Following the judgment of writing an essay and closing the case trigger the netizens as it raised a big question on our Justice system. The power of social media is indeed so powerful that the Judge had to take back his punishment and the police had to reopen the case. Let’s read further as to how it all started to what’s the current coverage:

Initial Outrage and Bail

The teenager was brought to the police station, but the Juvenile Justice Board released him on bond a short while later. He received a light sentence consisting of writing a 300-word essay about traffic accidents and how they are fixed. The public was incensed by this and rushed to social media to vent their rage. Additionally, locals observed a vigil by candlelight for the departed.

Liquor Consumption and Arrests

Later CCTV footage revealed the teenager and his buddies were drinking alcohol at two bars totaling Rs 69,000 before the tragedy. Both pubs were sealed after three of their executives were arrested for providing alcohol to underage customers.

Claims of Unfair Treatment

Allegations surfaced that the teenager received preferential treatment at the Yerwada police station, including pizza and hamburgers. The Pune police commissioner refuted these accusations, though. Leaders of the opposition, including Sunil Tingre of the NCP, were also charged with going to the police station late at night in an attempt to apply pressure, a claim Tingre refuted. There were also accusations made against opposition figures, such as Sunil Tingre of the NCP, of going to the police station late at night to apply pressure, although Tingre refuted these claims.

Attempt to Shift the Blame

Vishal Agrawal, the proprietor of Bramha Realty and Infrastructure, and the father of the adolescent, fled when the police began to search for him. He was ultimately arrested on May 21 at a lodge for giving his little son the car even though he didn't have a driver's license.

An Attempt to Assign Credit

Later, the teen's father claimed that their family driver was at fault for the collision. The teen's two friends agreed with this assertion as well. CCTV footage, however, revealed to the authorities that the 17-year-old youngster was operating the Porsche with "full senses" and that he had taken the car out of his home.

Arrest of Grandfather and Threat Allegations

Surendra Agrawal, the teen's grandfather, was taken into custody on May 25 after the family's driver claimed he had been unfairly detained, intimidated, and instructed to accept responsibility for the collision. Police said Surendra Agrawal abducted his driver, Gangaram, and confined him in a bungalow to pressure him to take the blame for the crash.

Modification of Blood Samples and Arrests

It was discovered that the teen's blood samples were not obtained right away following the collision, raising concerns about whether this was done to lower the blood's alcohol content. Due to their manipulation of both the blood samples and the blood report, two physicians from Sassoon Hospital, where the blood samples were taken, were placed under arrest. The teen's blood sample was purportedly replaced with a doctor's to demonstrate the accused's abstinence from alcohol consumption.

Latest Twist: Mother's Involvement

According to police sources, the minor's blood sample was switched at Sassoon General Hospital on Friday with his mother Shivani Agrawal. Shivani is wanted by the police, and the seventh arrest in this case may occur shortly.

The Pune Porsche crash has taken many unexpected turns, and new, fascinating details are emerging every day. The case has involved politicians, police officers, doctors, and the entire family of well-known real estate developer Vishal Agarwal. The chronology of events has been transformed into a web series, and people are excitedly anticipating the next development in this terrible and contentious case.
