BMW M4 Competition is designed to give you a feel of comfort with style. You can rely on the car for long, luxurious, adventurous road trips in India.

BMW M4 Competition is a powerful pack of features with an inline-six petrol engine alongside all-wheel drive and an entirely new design style.

BMW M4 Competition: Performance and Engine

BMW M4 Competition's Performance and Engine features are as follows:

  • The new BMW M4 Competition is powered by a 3.0-litre, inline-six, twin-turbocharged gasoline engine.

  • The longitudinally mounted engine creates 510 horsepower and 650 Nm of maximum torque.

  • The engine is paired with an 8-speed torque-converter automatic transmission from ZF, which replaces the 7-speed DCT unit from its predecessor.

  • In addition, this is the first time the BMW M4 is available with an all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which is standard on the India-specific model. BMW claims a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds and a maximum speed of 250 km/h.

  • Compared to its predecessor, the M4's output and torque have increased by 60 horsepower and 100 Newton metres, respectively.

  • Additionally, the new M4 features a dynamic M suspension and an M Sport differential. The makers of the car have increased the front track by 34 mm and the rear track by 38 mm.

The Exterior Design of the BMW M4 Competition

The new BMW M4 Competition's exterior design has garnered polarised opinions but is undeniably distinctive from every angle.

  • The face or front of the car has a massive vertical grille with seven double-horizontal louvres. The bonnet also has two indents to maintain good ventilation.

  • The grille is complemented on either side by customisable LED lamps with laser lighting.

  • The bumper is aggressively designed with sharp creases and gaping airflow. It has a trunk-mounted spoiler, a finely sculpted rear bumper, a multi-channel diffuser, and a pair of black chrome round tailpipes on either side.

  • To reduce weight, the M4 Competition features a carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic canopy.

  • The latest BMW M4 Competition is 108 mm longer, 18 mm wider, and 1 mm taller than its predecessor. Its wheelbase is 45 mm longer than the previous model at 2,857 mm.

The Interior and Features of the BMW M4 Competition

The interior of the BMW M4 Competition is essentially identical to that of the standard 4 Series, retaining the familiar design of current-generation BMW automobiles. It does, however, have M-specific details, including abundant carbon fibre trims.

In addition, there are new M Sport seats, an M Sport steering wheel, an infotainment system and an M-specific digital instrument cluster.

The new BMW M4 competition features include:

  • a 12.3-inch digital instrument display,

  • a 10.25-inch infotainment display,

  • three-zone automatic climate control,

  • a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system,

  • ambient lighting, a head-up display,

  • wireless charging,

  • front seats have a memory function and lumbar cushioning, and

  • phone integration, among other features.

Additional safety features include:

  • six airbags, anti-lock brakes,

  • dynamic stability control,

  • cornering brake control.

BMW M4 Competition's Rivals

BMW M4 Competition's Rivals:

  • The only competitor to the BMW M4 Competition in India is the Audi RS5 Sportback, which is imported as a CBU.

  • In contrast to the two-door M4 Competition, the RS5 Sportback has four doors, whereas the previous RS5 was a two-door coupe.

  • The latter is powered by a twin-turbo V6 engine with 450 horsepower and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.

  • While Audi's performance may be inferior, its ex-showroom price of Rs. 1.07 crore is significantly lower.

Conclusion

The BMW M4 Competition is a sporty high-performance coupe with astounding power and precise handling. The BMW M4 Competition's aggressive design and aerodynamic enhancements exude athleticism.

The interior was created with the driver in mind, featuring comfortable seats and advanced technology. The M4 Competition is equipped with advanced security features and driving assists to boost both performance and road safety.
