Volvo Cars India has unveiled important price cuts on several of its models in a move that will thrill the luxury car lovers after the GST 2.0 came into play. The new taxation structure has seen the brand reducing the prices of several lakhs, which has made its up-end SUVs more affordable.
New Prices: XC60 and XC90
Volvo XC60 combined with a price cut of 4,79,333 at the end of the refreshed model that was introduced at the beginning of the year. The new ex-showroom price of the SUV is 67,10,667. Conversely, the flagship XC90 has the greatest advantage with a reduction of an enormous 6,92,660, and it now has a price of 96,97,240.
The two SUVs are characterised by their combination of Scandinavian design, high safety, and high-level comfort, and the mentioned decline will only increase their popularity in the Indian competitive luxury SUV market.
Electric Models Have not changed
The XC60 and XC90 are updated with new prices, but the electric collection of Volvo remains the same.
Festive Growth Strategy of Volvo
With regards to the announcement, Jyoti Malhotra, the Managing Director at Volvo Car India, commented that as a responsible business and as a Swedish luxury car maker, their efforts are to make luxury mobility more available and give their customers the best offers. Our provision of this combination of GST benefits and special offers as a part of the Double Festive Delight also helps us solidify our faith in the development of this niche segment in India.
Conclusion
Buyers now have an excellent incentive to look at the XC60 and XC90 with GST 2.0 benefits and the festive season promotions by Volvo. It is a good time because the festive season tends to spur luxury automobile sales. Electric models remain unchanged, but the reformed prices of the SUVs make it clear that Volvo remains a more appealing vehicle in the high-end sphere.
