Volkswagen Virtus Gt Line And Gt Plus Sport Trims Launched

Volkswagen Virtus GT Line and GT Plus Sport Trims Launched

Volkswagen has expanded its Virtus sedan lineup by introducing two new trims: GT Line and GT Plus Sport. Priced from Rs 14.07 lakh and Rs 17.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India), these trims have updated features and styling enhancements, following a similar update to the Taigun SUV.

Key Features of the Virtus GT Line

The GT Line trim incorporates a blacked-out exterior treatment that was previously exclusive to the 1.5 TSI variants and is now available for the 1.0 TSI variants as well. Here are the key updates:

Exterior Design:

  • Blacked-out alloy wheels, grille, roof, wing mirrors, and bumpers.

  • Dark chrome finish on the door handles.

  • Gloss black spoiler on the boot lid.

  • Blacked-out Virtus badging and new GT Line badges on the fenders and boot lid.

Interior Features:

  • Electric sunroof.

  • 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster.

  • 10-inch infotainment screen.

  • Front fog lamps and red ambient lighting.

  • Aluminum pedals.

  • Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), hill hold control, 6 airbags, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

  • All-black upholstery with grey stitching provides a sporty and sophisticated look.

The GT Line trim is strategically positioned below the Topline trim in the 1.0 TSI lineup, offering an appealing blend of style and functionality.

Updates Across the Virtus Lineup

In addition to the new trims, Volkswagen has updated the remaining Virtus lineup with enhanced features borrowed from higher-spec variants. These updates include the introduction of both chrome and sport exterior packages, echoing the enhancements made to the Taigun SUV.

With these updates, Volkswagen aims to strengthen its position in the competitive sedan market in India, providing customers with more stylish and feature-rich options in the Virtus lineup. The new GT Line and GT Plus Sport trims are poised to attract buyers looking for a blend of performance, comfort, and aesthetics.
