As the Ram temple consecration ceremony draws near in Uttar Pradesh, the state government is leaving no stone unturned to ensure a seamless experience for the attendees. In a bid to streamline entry and exit for visitors, the authorities have meticulously arranged parking facilities at 51 designated locations across the city. These spots, equipped to host 22,825 vehicles, are under the watchful eye of drone surveillance and have been thoughtfully mapped on Google for the convenience of arriving guests.
The comprehensive arrangements include special provisions for VVIPs, VIPs, and other participants, reflecting a commitment to an organized and well-prepared setup. According to BD Paulson, the Additional Director General (ADG) of Traffic, a total of 51 locations have been identified to cater to the parking needs of guests attending the significant ceremony.
The allocated parking spots cover various strategic areas, encompassing Rampath, Bhakti Path Marg, Dharma Path Marg, Parikrama Marg, Bandha Marg, Tehri Bazaar Rampath to Mahobra Marg, Tehri Bazaar Rampath to Unwal Marg, Ayodhya to Gonda route, national highway 27, Tirtha Kshetra Puram, Karsevak Puram tent city, Ramkatha Mandapam tent city, and the multilevel parking facility in Ayodhya.
Rajesh Tiwari, Ayodhya Traffic Circle officer, highlighted specific parking spaces reserved exclusively for VVIP and VIP guests, ensuring a well-organized setup. Notably, six parking spaces on Rampath and Bhakti Path have been earmarked for VVIP guests' vehicles, boasting a capacity of over 1,225 cars. Additionally, nine parking spaces on Dharma Path Marg and Parikrama Marg are specifically reserved for VIPs, with the capability to accommodate more than 10,000 VIP vehicles. Along National Highway 27, eight parking spaces have been allotted for the police force, creating parking provisions for over 2,000 police vehicles.
Stringent security measures have been implemented to safeguard these parking facilities, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic during the significant event. As the Uttar Pradesh government goes the extra mile to make this event memorable, the arrangements signify a commitment to precision and guest convenience during this historic ceremony.
