Upcoming Maruti Dzire Spotted Testing Important Details Revealed

Upcoming Maruti Dzire Spotted Testing: Important Details Revealed

In May Maruti launched the version of the Swift. Now we can anticipate the upcoming release of its sedan counterpart, the Dzire. The new Dzire has been seen undergoing testing times with details, about this compact sedan emerging online to excite potential buyers. Let's delve into the details of this upcoming Maruti car.

New Design Features

While the new Dzire will share some components with the Swift it will also showcase differences. Maruti intends to set apart the Dzire from the Swift by outfitting it with updated headlamps, bumpers, and grille. The Dzires headlamps will have a shape and be slightly larger in size. The higher-end models are rumored to feature projector LED headlamps while lower trims may come with projector halogens.

Expected Features

The interior of the Dzire is expected to mirror that of the Swift possibly incorporating shades. A standout feature of the Dzire will be its pioneering sunroof in its segment. Additional features include a 9.0-inch system, a charging pad, automatic climate control, a 6-speaker ARKAMY sound system, and more. On the safety side, it is anticipated to offer six airbags as standard along with ABS, with EBD an electronic stability program (ESP), and other safety enhancements.

The upcoming Dzire model is set to feature the Z12E engine first seen in the Swift. This engine delivers 80 horsepower and 112 Newton meters of torque. Anticipated transmission choices consist of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. Like the Swift, the new Dzire is expected to offer high fuel efficiency. Additionally, Maruti is currently testing a CNG variant for the Swift, and the Dzire is also expected to receive a CNG option later in its lifecycle.

Launch and Pricing

The Dzire is likely to be Maruti's next launch in India. Reports suggest that Maruti could introduce the Dzire in the next couple of months. Currently, the Dzire is priced between Rs 7.65 lakh and Rs 10.94 lakh (on-road, Mumbai). With the upcoming updates, a price hike of Rs 80,000 to Rs 1 lakh is expected over the current model.
