Upcoming and confirmed cars to be launched in March 2025 in the Indian Region

Without any significant debuts in February, automakers primarily used model-year upgrades and limited editions to entice consumers. However, that is anticipated to change next month as Maruti, the largest automaker in India, prepares to introduce its first electric vehicle. An all-electric roadster from a Chinese company is also anticipated, and Volvo has confirmed the release of the updated version of its iconic SUV.

Automakers mostly employed model-year updates and limited editions to attract customers in February since there were no noteworthy debuts. That is expected to change, though, as India's biggest carmaker, Maruti, is ready to launch its first electric car next month.

Volvo has announced the launch of the new version of its iconic SUV, and a Chinese business is also expected to introduce an all-electric roadster.

Here are all the upcoming and confirmed cars that will be launched in India in March 2025

  1. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara

The e-Vitara, Maruti's first all-electric SUV with a sporty exterior and a luxurious interior, was debuted at the 2025 Auto Expo. We anticipate the e-Vitara to arrive by mid-March, even though Maruti has not yet disclosed an official launch date.

It has been seen in a few showrooms prior to its launch, and some dealerships have even begun taking reservations. With two battery pack options—49 kWh and 61 kWh—the e-Vitara is expected to have a range of more than 500 kilometers.

  • Expected Launch Date- Mid-March 2025

  • Expected Price - Rs. 17 Lakhs

  • Tata Harrier EV

At the Auto Expo, we also had a closer look at the Tata Harrier EV production-spec, which is anticipated to be on sale by the end of March. While adding EV-specific features to set them apart, it mostly keeps the ICE-powered Harrier's design.

Tata has announced that the Harrier EV would have two electric motors and an all-wheel-drive system that can produce 500 Nm of torque, however, specifics on its engine have not yet been made public.

  • Expected Launch Date - 31st March 2025

  • Expected Price - Rs 30 Lakhs.

  • MG Cyberster

The Cyberster, MG's first all-electric two-door convertible, is anticipated to make its Indian debut following its appearance at the 2025 Auto Expo. In under 3.2 seconds, it set a new record for the quickest automobile to go from 0 to 100 kmph on Sambhar Salt Lake.

A 77 kWh battery pack powers the Cyberster's two electric motors, which generate 510 PS and 725 Nm. With its 'Select' dealerships, MG will sell the Cyberster at launch.

  • Expected Launch - Second Half of March 2025

  • Expected Price - Rs 50 Lakhs

  • 2025 Kia EV6

In the first half of March, Kia is anticipated to introduce the redesigned EV6 in India. The inside receives a new two-spoke steering wheel and an updated center console, while the exterior includes updated alloy wheels and modified LED headlights.

ADAS, a 12-inch heads-up display, and two 12.3-inch screens are important features. With a bigger 84 kWh battery pack, the 2025 EV6 is expected to have a range of more than 650 kilometers.

  • Expected Launch - mid-March 2025

  • Expected Price - Rs 63 Lakhs

  • Volvo XC90 Facelift

The 2025 XC90 facelift will make its premiere on March 4th, according to Volvo's recent confirmation. It has a new set of alloy wheels, sharper LED headlights and taillights, and a redesigned bumper, among other minor visual changes.

The 2025 XC90's cabin will be redesigned and is anticipated to have amenities, including a panoramic sunroof, a 12.3-inch driver's display, four-zone automated temperature control, and an 11.2-inch infotainment system.

Although a plug-in hybrid option may be added, Volvo is probably going to sell it with the same mild hybrid gasoline engine.

  • Expected Launch Date - 4th March 2025

  • Expected Price - Rs 1.05 Crore

  • Mercedes Maybach SL 680

The Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series will go on sale on March 17, 2025, according to Mercedes. It will be the brand's first two-seater vehicle and the sportiest Maybach ever. With its dual-tone red and black bodywork, streamlined LED headlights, and huge 21-inch alloy wheels that add to its beauty, the Maybach SL 680 has a luxury look.

With a dual-tone white and gray cabin motif and Maybach-specific accents, the interior exudes elegance. A 12.3-inch digital driver's display, an 11.9-inch infotainment system and memory-functioning powered seats are among the best features.

The SL 680 has a 4-liter twin-turbo V8 petrol engine under the hood that produces 585 PS and 800 Nm and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4 seconds.

  • Expected Launch Date - 17th March 2025

  • Expected Price - Rs 3 Crore

Conclusion

The automotive landscape in India is set for an exciting transformation in March 2025, with a strong emphasis on electric vehicles. Maruti Suzuki is making a significant move by launching its first EV, the e-Vitara, while Tata, MG, and Kia are also expanding their electric portfolios. Meanwhile, Volvo, Mercedes, and Kia are updating their premium offerings with new facelifts and advanced features. Whether it's the thrill of a high-performance electric roadster or the luxury of a premium SUV, car buyers will have a diverse range of options to look forward to. March 2025 promises to be a game-changer for India's auto industry, marking a step forward in the EV revolution.
