Toyota Innova Hycross Waiting Period Reduced Further In October 2024 Amid High Demand

Toyota Innova Hycross Waiting Period Reduced Further in October 2024 Amid High Demand

The Toyota Innova Hycross, known for its blend of spaciousness, comfort, and advanced hybrid technology, has been a crowd favorite since its launch. However, the high demand for this versatile MPV has led to significant waiting periods across both its petrol and petrol-hybrid variants. In a welcome move for potential buyers, Toyota has managed to further reduce the waiting period for the Innova Hycross as of October 2024, thanks to a streamlined supply chain.

Waiting Period Reduced for Petrol and Hybrid Variants

For October 2024, the waiting period for the hybrid versions of the Toyota Innova Hycross now stands at up to 35 weeks, compared to a lengthy 56-week wait in August 2024. This reduction is a result of Toyota ramping up production to meet the rising demand.

Meanwhile, for customers opting for the petrol-only variant, the waiting time is also notably shorter, now at up to 26 weeks. The gradual reduction in wait times is a relief for prospective buyers who have been eagerly waiting to get their hands on this feature-packed MPV.

Powertrain and Variant Options

The Toyota Innova Hycross comes with two powertrain options, catering to different customer needs. These include:

  • 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid engine: Paired with an electric motor, this version delivers improved fuel efficiency and a quieter, more refined driving experience. It is paired with an e-CVT transmission, making it a popular choice for environmentally conscious drivers looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

  • 2.0-litre petrol engine: For those who prefer a conventional petrol engine, this naturally aspirated motor comes with a CVT transmission. It offers a smooth driving experience and decent performance for city and highway use.

The Toyota Innova Hycross is available in six variants and seven different colors, giving buyers ample choice to customize their MPV to their preferences.

Price and Availability

The Toyota Innova Hycross is priced starting from Rs. 19.77 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option in the premium MPV segment. Despite the high demand and earlier long waiting periods, Toyota's efforts to reduce delays have made the Innova Hycross more accessible, though customers should still expect a few months' wait depending on their choice of variant.

High Demand Continues

Even with reduced wait times, the continued popularity of the Innova Hycross speaks to its strong market appeal. Its spacious interior, hybrid technology, and Toyota's reputation for reliability ensure that the Innova Hycross remains a preferred choice for families, fleet operators, and those seeking a high-quality multi-purpose vehicle.
