Top Features We Hope To See In The Indian Citroen C3 Aircross

Top Features We Hope to See in the Indian Citroen C3 Aircross

The Citroen C3 Aircross is getting a facelift for 2025, specifically for the Indian market. The European version of this model was just presented by Citroen, featuring several intriguing updates and features. Although the designs of the European and Indian models are similar, the European model has more sophisticated features and a wider range of engine options. The top three features that we want to see on the Indian Citroen C3 Aircross are listed below.

Improved Feature List

The feature list of the present Indian Citroen C3 Aircross is one important area for improvement. The European model has several contemporary features that improve user ease and the driving experience. These characteristics include climate control, a wireless charger, a more sophisticated instrument cluster, a head-up display (HUD), a compact steering wheel, and linked automobile technology. The European model also has the novel C-Zen seat idea, which is intended to provide more comfort.

The C3 Aircross's market worth and attractiveness would rise dramatically in India if these characteristics were added. These luxuries are now expected by Indian car purchasers, particularly in the B-segment market. Citroen has hinted at a significant cabin change later in the year, most likely incorporating these improvements. Before being released for the C3 and the C3 Aircross, this upgrade will initially be seen in the Basalt model.

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)

Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems are installed in the European C3 Aircross (ADAS). Active safety braking, lane-keeping assistance, driver alert, sign recognition, high beam assist, blind spot monitoring, and front and rear parking sensors are some examples of these features. These safety measures, which are frequently seen in rival models, are gaining importance among consumers.

Automobiles such as the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra XUV700, Honda Elevate, MG Hector, MG Astor, and Tata Harrier, typically in their top-spec models, already come with comparable ADAS technologies in the Indian market. The top-spec C3 Aircross, which more directly rivals the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Mahindra XUV300, is more expensive than these models. With the addition of ADAS to the C3 Aircross, Citroen might be a desirable choice for customers who are concerned about safety because it provides a strong package of cutting-edge safety features at a reasonable price.

Introducing an Electric Alternate

Given that Citroen has previously debuted the eC3 in India, an electric C3 Aircross would seem to be the next natural move. With a 113 horsepower motor and a 44kWh battery pack, the eC3 Aircross is a vehicle with a 300 km/h stated range and a top speed of 145 km/h in Europe. With a 100kW DC fast charger, the battery can be fast-charged from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes. Additionally, Citroen has stated that a variant with a 400-kilometer range extension will be offered in 2025.

Citroen's decision to introduce the eC3 Aircross could be seen as a calculated move, given the growing demand for electric cars (EVs) in India and the government's desire for greener transportation. It would satisfy the increasing number of buyers who are concerned about the environment and are searching for an elegant and useful electric SUV. The eC3 Aircross can be a well-liked option in the Indian market because of its electric powertrain's allure, rapid charging capabilities, and respectable range.

In summary, If the Citroen C3 Aircross adopts some of the salient characteristics of its European sibling, it could emerge as a formidable competitor in the Indian B-segment market. Its attractiveness would be greatly increased by adding an electric form, combining cutting-edge safety features, and upgrading the list of features.

Not only would these improvements increase the C3 Aircross's competitiveness, but they would also bring it into line with the changing tastes of Indian motorists. These possible upgrades may be essential to the C3 Aircross's success when Citroen gets ready to redesign it for India in 2025.
