Top 5 Best Selling Car Brands

Discover the top-performing car brands that are dominating the market. Toyota, renowned for reliability, leads the pack with its diverse lineup. Honda follows closely, celebrated for fuel efficiency and innovation. Ford, synonymous with toughness, secures its spot with popular SUVs and trucks. Volkswagen impresses with a blend of style and performance, while Hyundai's affordability and cutting-edge features round out the top five. These brands consistently deliver quality, making them favorites among car enthusiasts worldwide.

In the Indian automotive market, July proved to be a very newsworthy month, as seen by the automakers' announcement of their monthly sales figures. The Scorpio-N, Volvo XC40 Recharge, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Citroen C3 are just a few innovative and unique products recently introduced in the Indian automotive industry. The most recent sales figures for the country's vehicle manufacturers show a remarkable increase. For July 2022, we give you the top 5 automakers.

MARUTI SUZUKI

In July 2022, Maruti Suzuki could sell 98,318 units of its passenger cars, earning a market share of 39.17 per cent. MSIL sold 20,331 Alto & S-Presso units nationwide, with 84,818 compact category sales. Maruti Suzuki sold 23,272 automobiles in the UV class. In July 2022, MSIL delivered 13,048 Eeco Van units, adding to the total.

HYUNDAI

In July, Hyundai reported selling more than 60000 units overall. Hyundai's Creta, a midsize SUV, is still highly popular. Depending on the version, there is still a waiting time that can last up to nine months in some places. MSIL sold over 50000 cars on the domestic market in July 2022 compared to 48,042 in the same month in the previous year. Hyundai's most recent facelift, the Venue, released in May 2022, deserves much credit for this achievement.

TATA MOTORS

We have TATA motors in the third spot. With a notable rise in sales volume and ongoing gap reduction with Hyundai, they claimed a sale of 47,500 units. A stunning 57 per cent increase in sales was recorded for July 2022. Sixty-four per cent of all Tata sales come from the sales of SUVs. With 5,293 units sold, the two CNG models—the Tiago and Tigor i-CNG—recorded the most significant deals.

MAHINDRA

Mahindra has established itself in fourth place with a 33 per cent increase in sales in July. Mahindra sold 28,040 passenger vehicles in July 2022, an increase over the company's results from the previous year. Currently, 27,800 SUVs are sold. Their most recent product introduction, the Scorpio N, which turned out to be their highlight, garnered a positive reception from the automotive industry.

KIA

Kia India has an awe-inspiring yearly growth rate of 46.9 per cent, with a market share of 6.88 per cent in July 2022. Kia was successful in selling 20,022 cars. With such a strong response from automobile fanatics, the Seltos model proved to be a game changer. Seltos sold around 8000 units before selling the compact SUV Sonet with a sale of 7215 units.

With these recent debuts, the Indian vehicle industry appears to be flourishing, according to quite a unique report. Brands like TATA, KIA, and others showed excessive growth rates. Along with this, we may anticipate a highly active month of August filled with new launches.
