Tata Nexon EV, Curvv EV Purchased This Month Get Free Charging

Tata Motors is ending 2024 with a bang by offering free charging to customers purchasing the Tata Nexon EV or Curvv EV between December 9 and December 31, 2024. This initiative aims to encourage EV adoption and boost year-end sales. A similar scheme was available earlier during the festive season from September 10 to October 31.

Here’s everything you need to know about this exciting offer.

Free Charging Details for Nexon EV and Curvv EV

The free charging offer is applicable exclusively at Tata Power EZ’s 5,500+ charging stations across India. To activate this service:

  1. Customers need to register their vehicle on the Tata Power EZ Charge app.

  2. Activation will take up to two days post-registration.

  3. The vehicle must be privately registered and purchased directly from authorized Tata dealerships.

Offer Limitations

  • The free charging benefit is capped at 1,000 units of electricity or six months from the purchase date, whichever comes first.

  • Post this limit, customers will need to pay the standard tariff rates.

This incentive is exclusively available to the first owners of the vehicle.

Pricing Details

Tata Motors is offering a free charging deal on two of its premium EVs:

  • Tata Nexon EV: Prices range from ₹12.49 lakh to ₹17.19 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • Tata Curvv EV Coupe-SUV: Prices start at ₹17.49 lakh and go up to ₹21.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

While there are no discounts on the Curvv EV, some dealers are providing attractive benefits of up to ₹2 lakh on MY2023 Nexon EV units.

Why This Offer Matters

With the EV market becoming increasingly competitive, Tata Motors’ free charging offer is a strategic move to:

  • Boost EV Sales: Encourage customers to make the shift to EVs with added benefits.

  • Increase Tata Power EZ Adoption: Promote the use of Tata Power’s extensive charging network.

  • Strengthen Tata's EV Leadership: Cement Tata Motors' position as a leader in India’s EV space.

Should You Buy Now?

If you’ve been eyeing a Tata EV, this is the perfect opportunity to make your purchase. The free charging offer significantly reduces running costs for the first six months, making the Nexon EV and Curvv EV even more appealing. However, with the offer limited to December 2024 purchases and capped at 1,000 units of electricity, early buyers stand to gain the most.

Act now to drive into 2025 with Tata’s cutting-edge EVs and enjoy the benefits of sustainable and cost-effective mobility.
