Skoda Superb: Luxury Sedan Now Available with Massive Discounts

Skoda's flagship sedan, the Superb, is now available in India with significant discounts, making this premium vehicle more accessible to luxury car enthusiasts.

In April 2024, Skoda reintroduced the third-generation Superb to the Indian market as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), importing 100 units manufactured in 2023.

Priced at ₹54 lakh (ex-showroom), this move followed the discontinuation of the locally assembled model in 2023 due to the implementation of BS6 Stage 2 emission norms.

Attractive Year-End Discounts

As the year draws to a close, Skoda dealerships are offering substantial discounts on the remaining units of the imported Superb. Buyers can enjoy reductions ranging from ₹15 lakh to ₹18 lakh off the original ex-showroom price, bringing the cost down to approximately ₹36 lakh. This pricing aligns closely with the previous locally assembled model, which was also priced around ₹36 lakh before its discontinuation.

Enhanced Features in the Imported Model

The imported Skoda Superb comes exclusively in the top-tier Laurin & Klement (L&K) trim, offering several premium features not available in the earlier locally assembled versions.

These enhancements include Dynamic Chassis Control for adjustable suspension settings, an active tire pressure monitoring system, nine airbags for increased safety, and a larger 9-inch Columbus infotainment system.

Considerations for Prospective Buyers

While the discounted price makes the Skoda Superb an enticing option, potential buyers should consider that these units were manufactured in 2023.

As the calendar turns to 2025, the vehicles will be regarded as two years old, which could influence resale value and insurance premiums. Additionally, the availability of these discounted units varies by location, with approximately 20% to 25% cars remaining across various dealerships in India.

Overall, The Skoda Superb, renowned for its blend of luxury, performance, and advanced features, is now available at a significantly reduced price, offering exceptional value to discerning buyers.

However, weighing the benefits of the enhanced features and attractive pricing is essential against factors like the manufacturing date and potential implications on resale value.

Prospective buyers are advised to contact local dealerships promptly to confirm availability and specific discount details, as these offers are limited and subject to change.
