Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge: 659hp Electric Powerhouse Unveiled

The Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge is the marque's first all-electric Black Badge model, making it the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever produced with enhanced power, bold styling, and a unique design.

The existence of Spectre Black Badge has come to light. Representing perhaps the last of high-performance versions of the standard Spectre, with extra power and torque figures, this version, representing the spirit of Rolls-Royce's first EV, undoubtedly becomes their most powerful offering so far.

Rolls Royce Spectre Black Badge in-detailed

Take the plunge to view some highlights of the Rolls-Royce Spectre Black Badge.

Performance

Rolls-Royce had conjured this extra power of 659bhp and 1,075Nm through Infinity Mode, wherein power is sent to all four wheels. While the Black Badge shares with Spectre its 102kWh battery, a further 82bhp and 175Nm give the performance-oriented derivative an edge.

The end result is an impressive acceleration from 0-100 kph in 4.1 seconds combined with an impressive range of 493-530 km. Some tweaks have been made to the chassis, steering, and roll stabilization system so that the extra output can be handled, settling comfortably on ride comfort.

Design and features

The Exterior

Rolls-Royce showed the Black Badge in a new Vapour Violet, highlighted by 23-inch forged aluminum wheels. With 44,000 color choices, Rolls-Royce is letting customers paint the Spectre Black Badge in whatever they want. As customary for Black Bentleys, the Spirit of Ecstasy and the front grille get blacked-out treatment.

The Interior

Unique features include an illuminated grille that can be Illuminated in a maximum of five colors, treadplates, and 5,500-plus embedded 'stars' in the dashboard, something the company calls Illuminated Fascia. The colors for the driver's display can also vary while the other interior parts have a Carbon Fiber or Metal finish.

Rolls Royce Spectre Black Badge India launch, price

As Rolls-Royce is now selling the Cullinan and Ghost Black Badge models in India, the launch of the Spectre Black Badge in India could occur. We expect it to be around Rs 9.2 crore (before options), which, like other Black Badges, is an average premium of Rs 1.6 crore over the stock trim (see table below). Our Rolls-Royce Spectre review carried a reference price of Rs 7.6 crore (before options).
