Renault Launches New ‘R’ Store in Mumbai: A Stylish Leap Into the Future of Car Retail

Renault India continues its bold brand transformation with the launch of its second new ‘R’ store in the country and the first in Maharashtra. Located in Mumbai’s Kandivali area, the new outlet brings a modern, customer-centric retail experience with a premium layout, digital enhancements, and a new visual identity aligned with Renault’s global strategy.

Renault

Renault India has opened the doors to its new'R store in the nation—and its first in Maharashtra—under its "renault. Rethink. brand transformation strategy.

Situated in the commercial hub of Kandivali in Mumbai, the 2100 sq. ft. showroom is the first to introduce a completely new customer experience with an upgraded, globally inspired format.

The launch of the store is a part of Renault's larger resolution vision, which aims to redefine its identity in India by not only providing innovative cars but also upscale customer experiences.

A New Era of Showroom Design

The new'R store adopts Renault's New Visual Identity (NVI), putting the cars themselves firmly in the spotlight. The open plan enables each car to be shown prominently, facilitating an easy walkaround by visitors. With up to three display cars at a time, the atmosphere is open but immersive.

The design aspects also contribute to the attraction—streamlined lighting, contemporary decor, and luxurious lounge seating denote the automaker's devotion to a global standard of retail luxury.

More Than Just a Showroom

The new facility has specialized consultation zones, a state-of-the-art customer lounge, and strategically located service zones such as the after-sales reception and advisor offices, designed for comfort and productivity. All has been deliberately designed to ensure that the buying experience is seamless, from initial visit to final delivery.

Executive Insights and Future Outlook

Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President (Sales & Marketing) at Renault India, mentioned that the store opening is a very direct outcome of Renault's dynamic vision for India. With Renault recently opening up the largest Design Centre of the brand outside of France in Chennai, Renault is making definitive advancements in both growth and innovation.

Sanjay Thakker, Group Landmark Chairman, said he was proud to be helping Renault change: "This store is not just a showroom—it's a beacon of Renault's determination to reimagine the Indian car-buying experience."
