Renault has announced a 3-year/1 lakh Kilometers standard warranty.

Not just any warranty plan- this will be an extended warranty covering all new vehicles for three years or 1,00,000 km, Renault India said. This translates to a fantastic initiative to assure customers and build confidence during vehicle ownership. It will cover mechanical and electrical failures. It will offer options for an extended warranty to add more comfort to customers.

Renault has announced a 3-year/1 lakh Kilometers standard warranty.

Renault India would provide a three years or 1 lakh kilometers warranty for all these car brands, from January 1, 2025. With this extended warranty from a manufacturer, genuine peace of mind is made much better for customers.

Wide Coverage

This basic warranty provides cover against mechanical and electrical failures as well as manufacturing, materials, and workmanship defects. In other words, the customer will be able to use the new Renault car without the confidence that the customer would feel due to any related inconvenience during the warranty period.

Renault India has also launched exclusive 24x7 roadside assistance and emergency towing cover in addition to the standard warranty. This facility will help customers fulfill all their needs at any point in time and elevate the ownership experience.

Extended Warranty Options

Renault Secure brings to its customers several extended warranty options that stand out of the basic cover. Ideally, customers may seek out these extended warranties at any time during the standard warranty period. Options include:

  • Four years/1,00,000 km

  • Five years/1,20,000 km

  • Six years/1,40,000 km

  • Seven years/unlimited km

These extended warranties offer additional protection and flexibility for customers who wish to keep their vehicles for longer periods.

There can be an industry context for this: the comprehensive new warranty being launched is indicative of a similar trend that is going on among many of the automotive manufacturers in the automotive industry. Among the best warranty options in the industry, both boost customer satisfaction and retention. Another key point regarding Renault could probably be enhancing its position in the overall customer experience as well as competitive ability in the Indian scenario.

This will definitely augment Renault's standing with extended warranty options and roadside assistance amenities, in view of the competition. Ownership of a Kwid, Kiger, or Triber can be expected to give a considerable sense of assurance and satisfaction.
