With the beginning of the new Financial Year, the carmakers are revising the prices of their best-selling models, and most of the prices witness a hike. Following similar events, Honda announced the new hiked price of Elevate, which is now reported to start selling at Rs 11.91 Lakh. This car is available in four variants across manual and automatic gearbox options which also rivals the Hyundai Creta and has now become dearer by up to Rs. 44,100.
Variants and their New Prices
The most significant price increase is Rs 40,000 for the V and VX trim, and it is followed by an increase of Rs 33,000 for the entry-level SV trim. Prices for the ZX MT variant have increased by Rs 31,000, while those for the V CVT and VX CVT have increased by Rs 30,000. The ZX CVT, which tops the list, has the lowest price increase of Rs 23,000.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the Elevate employs the 1.5-litre i-VTEC gasoline motor that is tuned to produce 119bhp and 145Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox, along with an optional CVT, feeding power to the front wheels as standard. The Elevate returns a claimed 15.31kpl mileage with the manual, while the CVT has a claimed mileage of 16.92kpl.
Rivals
Currently, the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor compete with Honda's midsize SUV, the Elevate.
