Next Gen Honda Amaze Design Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Next-Gen Honda Amaze Design Leaked Ahead of Launch

The next-generation Honda Amaze, one of the most anticipated launches in the sub-four-metre sedan segment, is set to debut next week.

However, ahead of its official reveal, spy shots of the updated model have surfaced, offering a clear glimpse of its refreshed design. Drawing heavy inspiration from the current iteration of the Honda City, the 2024 Amaze boasts noticeable upgrades in aesthetics and features, hinting at a more sophisticated and modern package.

Exterior Design Updates

The spy images confirm that Honda has gone all out in giving the Honda Amaze a bold and stylish makeover.

At the front, the Amaze features:

  • LED Projector Headlamps: Sleeker and more dynamic, they come integrated with LED DRLs for enhanced visibility and a contemporary flair.

  • Grille with Chrome Accents: The new grille design, combined with chrome inserts, gives the front fascia a premium and elegant touch.

  • Redesigned Bumper and Fog Lamps: The bumper is sportier than before, while the inclusion of LED fog lamps adds functionality and style.

Moving to the side profile, the changes are subtler but still impactful. The design retains its familiar silhouette, but the introduction of new machined alloy wheels lends it a fresh look.

At the rear, the 2024 Amaze mirrors its larger sibling, the Honda City, with upgrades such as:

  • LED Taillights: Featuring a sleek, modern design, they add a touch of sophistication.

  • Redesigned Bumper: The rear bumper now includes horizontally mounted reflectors, enhancing safety and aesthetics.

  • Shark-Fin Antenna: A sporty addition that aligns with the car’s upgraded persona.

These exterior changes make the next-gen Amaze more appealing and capable of standing out in its segment.

Interior Updates

The cabin of the new Amaze also sees thoughtful updates to enhance comfort and aesthetics. The leaked images reveal a beige-themed interior, which exudes a sense of spaciousness and elegance. Honda is expected to incorporate updated materials and finishes to elevate the overall feel of the cabin.

Although the exact feature list remains undisclosed, it is likely that Honda will equip the Amaze with:

  • An updated infotainment system with enhanced connectivity options.

  • Improved driver-assist features.

  • More comfort-focused amenities for passengers.

These updates are aimed at making the 2024 Amaze a well-rounded option for buyers seeking a premium feel within a budget.

Engine and Performance

Under the hood, the new Honda Amaze will retain its tried-and-tested powertrain:

  • Engine: A 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 89 bhp of power and 110 Nm of torque.

  • Transmission: Buyers will have a choice between a five-speed manual gearbox and a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

This combination is known for its reliability, efficiency, and smooth performance, ensuring that the Amaze continues to cater to city commuters and long-distance drivers alike.

Competition and Market Position

The third-generation Honda Amaze will enter a highly competitive segment upon launch. Its main rivals include:

  • Maruti Suzuki Dzire

  • Tata Tigor

  • Hyundai Aura

While these models have carved out strong positions in the market, the Amaze aims to outshine them with its premium design cues, reliable performance, and Honda’s brand value.

Launch Timeline

The next-gen Honda Amaze is scheduled to launch next week, making it one of the most exciting additions to the sedan market in India this year.

With its City-inspired styling, upgraded interior, and dependable engine, the 2024 Amaze promises to be a solid contender in its segment. Stay tuned for the official launch and more updates!
