New Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB Images Surface

Excitement abounds as images of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB surface, offering a glimpse into the epitome of luxury and sophistication. The long-wheelbase variant promises an enhanced rear-passenger experience with extended legroom, accentuating its status as a chauffeur-driven delight. The images showcase the iconic design elements and cutting-edge technology that define the E-Class, reaffirming its position as a benchmark in the premium sedan segment. With a perfect blend of style and innovation, the new E-Class LWB is poised to captivate automotive enthusiasts.

Images of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB have surfaced online

Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB images have leaked online in China, and the car gets subtle changes on the outside. The rear door is long, just like the outgoing model, and the rear quarter glass has been positioned separately after the rear door. The rear quarter glass could have been integrated with the rear door window giving it a more seamless design, which is different.

The images also show “L” lettering after the model name to indicate that it is a long wheelbase variant. The Mercedes E-Class LWB is 5,092 mm long, 1,880 mm wide, and 1,493 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 3,094 mm. The long-wheelbase variant has a 133 mm longer wheelbase than the standard E-Class. The interiors remain unchanged on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class; the top trim will come with the new MBUX Superscreen that sports a single panel that integrates the central touchscreen and a co-driver display with a digital instrument cluster as one. The base trims will miss out on the Superscreen but will get a digital dash and a large touchscreen infotainment unit.

Under the hood, we can expect both petrol and diesel powertrain options. A layout similar to the outgoing model can be expected for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB, a 2.0-litre petrol, a 2.0-litre diesel, and a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class LWB is expected to reach the Indian shore by mid-2024. We are likely to get the LWB as standard, and the standard could arrive in an AMG guise. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class will lock horns with the likes of the BMW 5 Series, Volvo S90 and Audi A6, to name a few.
