Citroen French automaker, has launched the Euro-spec C3 Aircross in Europe. This model features petrol hybrid and electric powertrain options. The new version of the C3 Aircross is distinct from the India-spec version. It offers a different exterior design. It has a more feature-rich interior. There are a variety of powertrain options. These suit diverse consumer needs.
Pricing and Powertrains
The pricing for the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine)-powered version of the SUV starts at EUR 19400 (approximately Rs 17.38 lakh) The hybrid powertrain variant is priced at EUR 25,500. This is approximately Rs 22.85 lakh. The pure EV version costs EUR 27400. This translates to approximately Rs 24.55 lakh.
Petrol Variant:
The entry-level variants are powered by PureTech Turbo petrol engine producing 101 bhp. They are compliant with Euro 7 emission standards. These models are paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
Hybrid Variant:
The hybrid option features a 1.2-litre PureTech three-cylinder engine that generates 134 bhp. This engine is mated to a dual-clutch transmission. It is supported by an electric motor. The motor is powered by a 48-V lithium-ion battery. Delivering an additional 28 hp.
Electric Variant:
The electric-powered version of C3 Aircross is equipped with a 44 kWh battery pack. It powers an 11 bhp electric motor. This motor can propel the SUV to a top speed. That speed is 145 km/h. It offers a range of 300 km on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes. This is done using a 100 kW DC fast charger. When using AC power at home. The charging time ranges between 2 hours. It can also take up to 4 hours and 10 minutes. Citroen has announced plans to launch another version. This new version of e-SUV will have a range of around 400 km in the future.
