MG has launched the ZS EV with level 2 ADAS suite at a price of Rs. 27.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
The suite includes features such as Traffic Jam Assist (TJA), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Speed Assist System (SAS), Lane Assist Functions, and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). The level 2 ADAS suite works on three sensitivity levels: low, medium and high. And there are three levels of warnings as well: haptic, audio and visual prompts.
The MG ZS EV is powered by a 50.3 kWh battery pack that offers a range of 461 km on a full charge and the company claims a 0-100 kmph dash in 8.5 seconds. The electric motor produces 173 bhp of power.
The feature list includes LED lighting, 17-inch alloy wheels, 10-inch infotainment unit with AI assistant, PM 2.5 filter, panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wiper, Bluetooth operated digital key, over 75 connected car tech, and a 7-inch digital instrument console to name a few. The ZS EV is the electric offering from the fleet of MG vehicles in India. The MG ZS EV rivals the likes of the BYD Atto 3 and Hyundai Kona to name a few. The ZS EV range starts from a price of Rs. 23.38 lakh.
The current MG India lineup of cars include the Astor, Hector, Gloster and the recently launched Comet EV. The company also added the Blackstorm edition to the Gloster trim range.
