The Cloud-based electric Crossover is likely to be one of the first collaborations between MG Motor India and JSW. According to the news MG Motor is set to add two new EVs based on the E260 platform – a five-door SUV and a compact Crossover –both likely to be positioned below Rs 15 lakh. Known as the Wuling Cloud EV in Indonesia and the Baojun Yunduo in China, this electric Crossover Utility Vehicle is expected to hit markets by March next year.
Currently, it plans to introduce a third electric vehicle (EV) to the Indian market. It is anticipated that this new member of the EV family will be based on the Wuling Cloud, which is entirely electric. During testing, its battery-powered heart is expected to beat strongly. It was recently spotted and spy shots revealed several details, mentioned below.
A Compact Crossover Utility Vehicle
According to reports, the electric compact Crossover Utility Vehicle would have dimensions of 1,850 mm in width, 4,295 mm in length, and 1,652 mm in height when it debuts on the market. Up to five persons can probably fit in the automobile and enjoy a comfortable driving experience.
Expected Features
Leaked images have revealed that the new EV will feature LED treatments at both ends, with sleek daytime running lights (DRLs) and a trending connected taillight bar. This design choice adds a touch of modernity and sophistication to the vehicle, making it stand out on the road.
The EV also features a high roofline, complimented by flush-fitting door handles, making it look more futuristic.

Exterior and Interior
Spy images suggest that the vehicle might receive a heavy cladding treatment on the side, but the specifics of this design element are yet to be confirmed. This addition could add a rugged touch to the EV's appearance, making it appealing to those who seek a balance between style and practicality.
For the interior, spy images suggested a 3-spoke steering wheel and a robust 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, housed by the large floating touchscreen infotainment system.
Expected Powertrain
Under the hood, the Cloud EV is likely to come in two battery options. The 37.9 kWh and 50.6 kWh battery setups are expected to offer a range of around 360 km to 460 km respectively on a single charge. This impressive range promises to alleviate the range anxiety often associated with EVs, making it a compelling choice for eco-conscious consumers.
