MG Hector Leads the Pack as Top Value-for-Money SUV in Recent Surveys

MG Motor India's flagship SUV, the Hector, has clinched the title of the most value-for-money vehicle in its segment, according to recent surveys conducted by NielsenIQ and a leading used car company. Since its debut in the Indian market in 2019, the Hector has consistently impressed consumers with its innovative features and competitive pricing, solidifying its position as a top contender in the SUV segment.

The Chinese-owned British automaker, MG Motor India, proudly announced the Hector's triumph in the recent surveys, highlighting its low ownership cost and high resale value. The Hector, known for its segment-first features and robust performance, has garnered widespread acclaim from SUV enthusiasts across the country.

The NielsenIQ Service Cost Survey evaluated the ownership cost of the Hector, focusing on the expenses incurred for servicing petrol variants sold between January 2021 and August 2021. The survey revealed that the Hector had the lowest cost of ownership among SUVs and hatchbacks in its category, with an average of 3-5 services. Additionally, a separate survey conducted by a prominent used car company in India affirmed the Hector's superior resale value compared to its competitors. According to the findings, the petrol variant of the Hector boasted an impressive resale value of approximately 67%, while the diesel variant commanded a remarkable 74% resale value.

Satinder Singh Bajwa, Chief Commercial Officer at MG Motor India, expressed his delight at the Hector's success, emphasizing its popularity among Indian SUV enthusiasts. He attributed the Hector's acclaim to its winning combination of luxury, efficiency, bold design, and advanced technology. Bajwa highlighted Hector's exceptional value proposition, citing its low Total Cost of Ownership, high resale value, and superior quality as key factors that have set a new industry benchmark.

The Hector's continued dominance in the market reflects MG Motor India's commitment to delivering exceptional value and performance to its customers. With its unparalleled features and competitive pricing, the Hector has established itself as a formidable player in the SUV segment, appealing to discerning consumers seeking both quality and affordability.

As the automotive landscape continues to evolve, MG Motor India remains dedicated to driving innovation and excellence in the industry. Hector's latest accolades underscore the brand's ongoing efforts to exceed customer expectations and solidify its position as a leader in the Indian automotive market.

In conclusion, the MG Hector's recent triumph in the surveys underscores its status as the top choice for consumers seeking unparalleled value and performance in the SUV segment. With its exceptional ownership cost and impressive resale value, the Hector continues to reign supreme as a symbol of excellence in the automotive industry.
