Maruti Vs Maruti Which One To Buy Swift Zxi Plus Vs Maruti Fronx Delta Plus O

Maruti Vs Maruti: Which one to buy, Swift Zxi Plus vs Maruti Fronx Delta Plus (O)?

The comparison is always between two different car brands but this time let’s talk about two different cars of Maruti. Maruti is one the most popular and realizable car brands in India and currently, The 2017 Maruti Swift, which has received a generational upgrade with improved styling, more comforts, and even a new Z series petrol engine, is the highlight of the show. The new Swift now costs the same as larger Maruti vehicles, such as the Fronx crossover, thanks to these improvements. The top-spec Swift Zxi Plus is priced quite close to the newly introduced Fronx Delta Plus(O) variant. Let’s delve into the details and find out which is offering high value with the best price:

Cost and Variants: A Close Competition

With its generational update, the new Swift is showing off its strength and is rivalling the Maruti Fronx crossover, which was just unveiled. Customers are faced with a difficult decision between these two Maruti Marvels due to their similar costs. Rivalling the Fronx Delta Plus (O), which costs Rs 8.93 lakh for the manual and Rs 9.43 lakh for the AMT, is the Swift Zxi Plus, which is priced at Rs 9 lakh for the manual and Rs 9.50 lakh for the AMT. The Swift is leading the Fronx by just Rs 7,000 in a close race.

Dimensions and Space

In terms of size, the Maruti Fronx shows off its strength, with greater proportions than the Swift. The Fronx surpasses the Swift's 265-litre boot capacity with its spacious cabin and large 308-litre boot, making it a subcompact crossover. The Fronx is the obvious choice for anybody looking for a roomy ride because it can accommodate passengers and goods.

Powertrain and Performance

The Swift and Fronx each highlight their advantages under the hood. While the Fronx has the reliable K series 1.2-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine, the Swift has the new Z series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine. At 90 PS, the Fronx flexes its biceps with 8 PS greater power than the Swift, which only manages 82 PS. But there is very little torque differential between the two—just 1 Nm. Though it's a close call, the Fronx may have an advantage in some circumstances due to its increased power.

Feature Highlights

The Swift Zxi Plus is a real show-stopper in terms of features. With its large 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charging, wireless AC vents on the back, and high-end 6-speaker Arkamys sound system, the Swift overtakes the Fronx Delta Plus (O). Cruise control is another feature that makes driving a pleasure in the Swift. In contrast, the Fronx has a 4-speaker sound system, a 7-inch touchscreen, automatic air conditioning, and controls positioned on the steering wheel. Although the Swift has an abundance of features, the Fronx is still a formidable competitor.

Safety Features

With six airbags, electronic stability control, hill hold assist, ABS with EBD, and other crucial safety features, the Swift and Fronx both put safety first. But the Swift wins thanks to its innovative back parking camera, which provides an additional degree of ease and security. The Swift is the obvious option for people who prioritize the security and convenience of parking.

Overall it can be concluded that The decision between the Maruti Swift and Maruti Fronx ultimately comes down to personal taste. The Swift is the best option if you're a tech-savvy consumer who demands the newest amenities and an upscale in-car experience. It stands out as a choice because of its wireless charging, excellent sound system, and cruise control. Though it lacks some of the Swift's cutting-edge capabilities, the Fronx is still a strong substitute if space and ground clearance are your key concerns.
