Maruti Brezza Now Comes With 6 Airbags As Standard; Prices Start From 8.69 Lakh

Just on account of this standard six airbags feature, Maruti Suzuki increased its base price for Brezza at the moment to Rs. 8,69,000. The increase in price is for almost all variants across the range barring the super ZXI+ model. On the upside for months, this model sees the addition of safety features for regulatory compliance.

Maruti Suzuki has now provided its Brezza in all the variants as standard with six airbags19. This is the reason a price hike is noted in most trims because the LXI variant of this base model now starts from Rs 8.69 lakh.

Key Updates:

  • Six Airbags Standard: All variants now come with front, side, and curtain airbags.

  • Price Increase: Prices have increased for all variants except ZXI+.

  • Other Standard Safety Features: Includes 3-point ELR seatbelts for all seats, shoulder height adjustment for the front seatbelts, and adjustable rear headrests.

  • New Component: A folding rear center armrest with cupholders is now standard.

Powertrain

Mechanically, nothing has changed for the Brezza, for this is well aided by the petrol engine K15C of 1.5 liters (102 bhp/139 Nm) accompanied by a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. Further, there is a CNG option.
