Mahindra XUV 3XO REVX A featuring Dolby Atmos priced under 12 lakh

Mahindra has crossed the global threshold with the XUV 3XO REVX A, the first SUV under the Rs 12 lakh price bracket to get Dolby Atmos technology. The in-car speaker system that was a preserve of high-end vehicles has become well within the reach of more Indian consumers who are attending to a new set of expectations on the entertainment front.

Mahindra has now officially launched Dolby Atmos in its very popular XUV 3XO, with the new REVX A model. This provides the model the distinction of becoming the first SUV in the world that costs less than Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom) to install the high-fidelity sound.

Known to revolutionize cinematic sound, Dolby Atmos ensures to enhance in-car entertainment, providing it with a denser and more precise manner of sound.

Presented in Various Forms

Although the REVX A is in the lead, Dolby Atmos installation can also be deployed to the AX5L, AX7 and AX7L trims. The audio system communicates through a six-speaker system that is specifically optimised for the cabin of the SUV.

AX7L offers an added dimension in bass with an external subwoofer to many audiophiles. The introductions of these Dolby Atmos-ready models are to begin in the middle of next month.

The infotainment system along with the integrated support to Gaana’s streaming platform also provides direct access to Dolby Atmos Music on the go. This puts the XUV 3XO as the fourth Mahindra line-up to use Dolby Atmos after the BE 6, XEV 9e, and Thar Roxx.

The SUV Behind the Tech

The XUV3XO was introduced earlier this year and is placed in a very competitive segment of the sub-compact SUV segment, competing with the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, and the Suzuki Brezza.

There are three engine options to choose from such as 1.2L petrol, 1.2L TGDi turbo-petrol, and 1.5L diesel models available in manual and automatic transmission options.

The major highlights in it are a panoramic sunroof, dual 10.25-inch digital screens, ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, wireless smartphone connectivity, and Level-2 ADAS.
