Mahindra Hikes Prices Across Bolero Neo Plus, XUV 3XO, Thar

Mahindra has revised prices across three of its popular models this July, with the Bolero Neo Plus, XUV 3XO and Thar all becoming more expensive. Here is a full breakdown of what has changed and by how much across every variant.

  • Three popular Mahindra models get price hike this month

  • Thar sees its third revision so far this year

Mahindra raised prices across three of its models in July 2026, touching the Bolero Neo Plus, the XUV 3XO and the Thar. The revisions vary by model and variant, with the steepest hike on the Bolero Neo Plus touching close to fifty thousand rupees.

Bolero Neo Plus Now Costs Up to Rs. 49,500 More

The Bolero Neo Plus, Mahindra's nine seater people mover, has had its prices pushed up by between Rs. 39,500 and Rs. 49,500 depending on variant. Both the P4 and the range topping P10 have been affected, with the former becoming dearer by Rs. 39,500 and the latter by Rs. 49,500.

The Bolero Neo Plus sits above the standard Bolero and Bolero Neo in the lineup and is aimed at those needing extra seating capacity. It runs a 2.2 litre diesel engine that puts out 118bhp and 280Nm, paired with a six speed manual gearbox, a step up from the smaller 1.5 litre unit used in the regular Bolero Neo.

Equipment on offer includes 16 inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps, electrically adjustable mirrors, a height adjustable driver seat and a touchscreen infotainment system.

XUV 3XO Hiked by Up to Rs. 30,000

The XUV 3XO has also received a price bump, with increases going up to Rs. 30,000 depending on the variant chosen. Among the petrol range, the mid spec AX5 manual has taken the sharpest hit, rising by a full Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 10.29 lakh.

Entry level petrol variants such as the MX1 manual have gone up by Rs. 25,000, while several mid tier trims like the MX2 Pro and MX3 have seen more modest increases of around Rs. 9,000.

On the diesel side, the MX2 manual now costs Rs. 14,000 more, while the MX2 Pro and MX3 diesel variants have risen by roughly Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000.

All petrol XUV 3XO variants continue to use a 1.2 litre turbocharged engine producing 110bhp and 200Nm, offered with either a manual or torque converter automatic gearbox, while the diesel version, available only with a manual, produces 115bhp and 300Nm from its 1.5 litre unit.

Thar Gets Its Third Price Hike of the Year

Mahindra's three door lifestyle SUV, the Thar, has also joined the list of models affected, with increases of up to Rs. 37,000 rolled out from 10 July, 2026.

The top spec LXT 4WD 2.2 diesel automatic has taken the largest hit at Rs. 37,000, followed by the LXT 4WD petrol automatic and LXT 4WD 2.2 diesel manual, which are now costlier by Rs. 36,000 and Rs. 34,000 respectively.

The LXT 4WD petrol manual and the entry level AXT 2WD diesel manual have gone up by Rs. 33,000 and Rs. 32,500, while the LXT 2WD petrol automatic and LXT 2WD diesel manual have risen by Rs. 27,000 and Rs. 29,500. Following this revision, the Thar range now spans from Rs. 10.32 lakh to Rs. 17.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

Notably, this marks the third price increase for the Thar this year, following earlier hikes of Rs. 20,000 in January and Rs. 43,000 in April 2026. The Thar continues to be offered with 1.5 litre diesel, 2.0 litre turbo petrol and 2.2 litre diesel engine options, mated to six speed manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes, with both 4x2 and 4x4 configurations available.

What This Means for Buyers

With these revisions now in effect, prospective buyers of the Bolero Neo Plus, XUV 3XO or Thar will need to budget slightly more than before. The increases, while not drastic across most variants, do add up for those eyeing the higher end trims.

Anyone planning a purchase would do well to check the latest on road price in their city before finalising a booking, given how frequently these figures are being updated this year.
