Lineup of 5 new Kia Cars to be launched in India

Kia is among the most recognizable brands in the Indian market. Since its debut in 2019, Kia has offered a variety of automobiles, such as SUVs, MUVs, and even EVs. The South Korean company has big plans for the years to come. This is a list of the five new Kia vehicles that are planned for the Indian market.

Kia is one of the most reputed brands in the Indian car market, and Kia offers a wide catalogue of SUVs, MUVs, and EVs. The South Korean giant has many big plans for the upcoming years, and to support this vision, the following is the lineup of the new cars Kia has scheduled to launch in India.

  1. 2025 Kia EV6

The EV6 crossover is at the top of the list. This year, Kia debuted the updated version of this electric crossover at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Redesigned headlights, a new front grille, an updated bumper, and new wheels are just a few of the exterior visual improvements made to the EV6.

New 19-inch glossy-finished alloy wheels, unique Star Map lighting with linked DRLs, and Star Map LED rear combination lights are just a few of the up to 15 improvements included in the EV6 facelift.

  1. Carens Facelift

Kia's Carens is a well-liked MUV. Since it has been on the market for a while, this three-row MUV has needed a mid-life upgrade. It appears that the significantly revised Carens facelift would likely be introduced to the market this year since Kia has been working on the improved version since last year.

New alloy wheels, updated front and rear designs, and other improvements are all part of the Carens facelift. The MUV will come equipped with high-end amenities, including ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and more. Two petrol and one diesel engine choice will still be available.

  1. Carens EV

The next vehicle on the list is an EV. The electric variant of this well-liked MUV has been seen testing multiple times and is probably based on a modified Carens ICE platform. It is anticipated to have front-wheel power from 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh battery pack options, as well as premium features like its ICE counterpart. The EV is anticipated to be released into the market following the Carens facelift.

  1. Seltos Hybrid

Kia is also developing the next Seltos in addition to these SUVs. The SUV has been seen undergoing testing on many occasions abroad. It will probably experience significant internal and external changes. A powerful 1.6-liter hybrid engine with a peak torque of 265 Nm and 141 Bhp is anticipated to power the new Seltos.

  1. Syros EV

The electric Syros, a freshly released sub-4-meter SUV, comes in last on the list. Kia has already disclosed its intentions to introduce the Syros EV. The same platform as the Inster is anticipated to serve as its foundation. The electric SUV is anticipated to be introduced to the market early next year, and the Syros EV is probably going to have two battery pack options.

Conclusion

Kia is gearing up to strengthen its presence in the Indian automotive market with an exciting lineup of new vehicles, including facelifts, EVs, and hybrid models. From the refreshed EV6 to the highly anticipated Carens EV and the all-new Syros EV, Kia is catering to a diverse range of consumers. With a focus on innovation, sustainability, and cutting-edge features, these upcoming models are set to elevate the driving experience. As Kia continues to expand its portfolio, Indian car enthusiasts can look forward to more advanced and eco-friendly options soon.
